Old School / Old Skool Music Definition
This is the original break beat form from England that led to hardcore. Old school featuers a ¾ time sampled break beat as the main rhythm track. Though old school is distinctly different rhythmically, it retains mainy of the other original elements of house. This form was popular in England in the late eighties and has since disappeared.
