yeah,it really does dude.us old-schoolers really had a good time there & it was kinda our homebase hangout during those years it was open.i remember all the guys doing security there use to come back to me & my friends house afterwards & have afterhours.it was a really great bunch of guys working there....

ok my friend,here's the story with SkyLab.the big tall skinny guy with the dreads was Emmit.he ran the place,BUT there was this other dude,i never got his name,but i know he was an ex-navy seal,he owned the building.he wasn't really ever around,but sometime around 2000,the guy sold the building.so that was really the downfall for SkyLab.i think the dude got some outrageous offer of money to buy the building & he just couldn't refuse,cause according to Emmit,the SkyLab nights always did well money wise,but that was only 2 nights a week though.man i miss that place,they used to have this bangin smoothy bar & all the security there were also friends of ours & partied with us,so that place was pretty much a free-for-all for our group of friends,BUT we never acted like a bunch of numb-nuts up in there & always respected the place & never brought any undue attention from the law to our friends place.good times those were.good times
