Aside from the delayed start and early ending, what did everyone think?
I thought the 4 seperate rooms were awesome. good variety in the music. The lasers in the house room were absolutely awesome, because of the beams and shit there were splashes of green light everywhere. looked dope as hell. it seemed like a poor turnout though. i was basically there from start to finish constantly expecting it to really fill up but it never really did. still a good party though. i thought phil free art did a kick ass set. anyone know why it actually ended like an hour early? i heard some stuff bout the cops seeing some gals snorting some stuff in the bathroom. dunno if thats bs or w/e btw anyone have pics?? (srry for double post, mod wanna delete one?) |

wonder what the head count was.. that space was huge and would need like 3000 people to fill, at this point, the scene cant produce the heads it needs to fill it up but aside from sound/power issues it seemed to be an ok party.

I thought this party was alright... sort of surprised by the low turn out. My boyfriend and I were wondering if they actually made any money or if they took a loss on this one. It was great to see DJ Irene... I loved her set. I also thought they layout was pretty well planned as I never had any problems with sounds interferring. The only thing that makes me think the party was only alright was because of the late start and early ending. At $28 I wanted a compete party. Cest la vie!

yeah, i wouldn't have been soo pissed about it ending at 3 if they opened the doors at 9, but instead i froze my ass off around that back corner for over an hour puffing on menthols to stay warm.

Well, keep in mind this isn't Sources property, they're using someone else, and unfortantly, as nice as the area and venue is, it's a paintball place and therefore people we're still doing their lil hobby. As for getting shut down, I didn't stay till three, I got too tired. But it was okay, it was also my first 'massive' but I honestly prefer how Gatorave went. Besides getting shut down, but thats my opinion. Still had a great time.

He played an old skool set. It could probably fall in the category of "Rave", but if you don't want to call it that, then I guess it was a mixture of old Breakbeat, Acid House, Techno, and Hardcore from the early 90s. Stuff like old Prodigy, Moby, a lot of stuff of of the XL Recordings label.
It was a history lesson. ![]() |
