yusss I am awake/recovering from the end of the party and cleanup. Yep I teach philosophy and I spin drum and bass, that's just how it is! I was into drum and bass before I even got into grad school, so dnb is a long-term passion for me.

Thanks for all who came out. As planned, we banged out the beats in both rooms until the early morning and it was good to see a decent turnout of ravers making full use of the venue, sound, and lights we had arranged for your entertainment. We had no major incidents and people seemed to have a good time, so it's all good.

The funniest was getting everything cleaned up for the church group that was renting the same space for their gospel gathering sunday morning. Literally an hour before that group showed up Vamp was still blasting loud techno at full volume with laser lights shooting out from behind him and ravers doing the early dawn zombie staggerstep on the dancefloor. hilarious.
