yea it was in florida i kno, but atleast one or 2 of u would probaly like to know how it went for us rler's
-i'll start with the bad news. miami was fucking CHILLY..u could've made a million dollars if u had any long sleeve tshirts to sell at ultra, cause everyone else sold out @ around 4-5pm, i only brung one pair of pants that that was the mistake. wore shorts to ultra, me and michelle were slowly turning to ice by late evening. the streets/highways suck balls too, just lookin for hotels will wear you out. and last but not least, ultra was too damn short ;[. i look back and think of all the dj's i didn't get to see(like icey) and it makes me sad, they should just strech that shit out to the entire lenght of wmc. i guess theres always next year.
-this place was so fuckin huge...holy shit..good thing most of us had cells or we'd be lost forever. the trek from the entrance gate to the main stage in the back took atleast 3-5 minuites i think lol. and sooo many people showed up of course, i cant even think of the number of people i met without a ti-85.
-i was proud as a chicagoan that the house tent basically kicked ass and took names. it was kinda funny when ppl are standing over at the main stage 100-150ft away , with someone playing, asking where is that louder bass comming from? lol. the only downside was it was packed to the brim and flooding out of the tent, no room for any dancin. the dnb/jungle stages were awesome too, so much energy all day long. i also heard alot of good stuff from people i dont even kno while wandering stage to stage. and some guy gave me a decent house cd for free, i'll probally bring it to next rl afterparty
-other notable good sets that i liked were infected mushroom, which we almost missed because we got in there kinda late(3-ish) and i liked prodigy more than i thought i would, after all everyone knew the songs that they were gonna play.
-bry i hope u liked that van helden set lol, i dont even know if u picked up the phone or if it went to voicemail.
-the rl chicago stringers represented once again, this time for the whole country
. next stop: world domination. they still drew some pretty big crowds despite not havin nearly enough glowsticks to last them the night.
-dj, ur a fuckin psycho lol
. post more often here and i'll cya at humped or whatevers after that. glad to have u at ultra tho, and the rest of the rlers i was with too, tj michelle n jill, i had a blast and my friend joel did too, he wants to try to get into stringing now which is kinda shitty since i dont think theres a scene in orlando lol, poor him
-i dont have tons of pics like i was planning to get , they were sayin no cameras and i was too much of a pussy to just sneak mines in, didn't want to give them any bit of reason to not let me in lol. they had cameras for sale in there which i think is pretty gay, so i didn't buy one, i think jill snapped a good bit of pics on her disposable that she got in tho, so look forward to that whenever she gets back. the only pics i have is of tj spinnin fire at michelles parents house, which will go up in a bit(update: they r in the pic thread).
thats all i can think of for now, was well worth the shitload of $ that came out of my wallet. i only wish it had gone on longer. me and my freind drove around orlando all night lookin for any edm club cause we wanted to party so much after ultra. o well.
