Crossing the boundaries of musical styles is normally the kiss of death for most artists. Only the talented few can survive the typecasting that global success has brought them and Mauro Picotto is the leader of the pack. On top of the estimated 250 tracks that he’s made to date, Mauro also leads the DJ pack when it comes to his globetrotting schedule. One minute he’s spinning to a packed out 45,000-seater football stadium in Amsterdam and the next he’s playing to 18,000 in the middle of the Amazonian jungle at seven in the morning, with parrots flying overhead.

Mauro has continued to defy the critics by constantly changing the public perception; he has crossed musical genres while others have fallen by the way side, from the untrained eye with relative ease. Bah, Chicago is so uptight about clubs it's not even funny, but also understandable. Just sucks, look at me Kailee, I'm no where near to be at clubs soon, just gotta wait it out though :[ sure have missed a lot, and a lot more to miss soon. I'm really upset the fact I won't see LTJ Bukem, that's a huge bummer too. But oh well! =)
