nas is pretty popular. but for the most part, these are not top hip hop acts. but that doesn't mean they're not good. as a matter of fact 99% of the top acts in hip hop these days i wouldn't see for free. I've been a fan of talib kweli since he came out with the blast in probably '01.Pharoahe Monche has a pretty popular track- "get the fuck up! simon says get the fuck up!".... good lyracist. i've heard some stuff by slum village too and what i've heard of them they're pretty good. if you like lyrical east coast hip hop (alot of these acts have been musical guests on the dave chapelle show) you'll enjoy this show. if bling bling or gang banger bullshit rap is your style, this show ain't for you

immortal technique might be my favorite from this line up, but mf doom is amazing too. in fact, they're all fucking bomb - i have high standards for hip hop, & nothing is more important to me than the quality of the writing. these artists are ALL brilliant lyricists, even wu-tang (to a lesser extent).

WTC, Nas, and Talib are worth the price alone.

I'd go see it for Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, and of course Wu Tang. Buuuut, hopefully I won't be able to go because of Darth Raver...
