R.u.hip?
So I'm writing this paper on Chicago's fashion world. *cough* If you give a shit about what garb you adorn your body with, please fill this out. College kids only, please. PM me or hit me up on my myspace (most of you kids are on it). Or facebook. If you roll that way.
For those of you wondering, yes, I'm a fashion design major. I go to Columbia College Chicago. I'd like to get a wide spectrum of answers, which is why I'm posting this up here. Even if you don't follow the fashion industry all that much, it'd be interesting to hear what you've got to say and make my paper all the more colorful.  .yea. 1.)What school do you go to and what's your major, if any? 2.)What do you think of fashion in general? 3.)If you had to classify your style in garb, what would it be? 4.)Does music affect what you wear day to day? 5.)How much time do you spend in an average day planning what to wear? 6.)Do you shop for clothes online more than shops? 7.)What do you think of Chicago's fashion “scene”? 8.)Do you try to follow trends? Are you anti-trend? Or do you just not care about trends? 9.)Where do you see fashion in general going? Are people caring more/less about what they're putting on their bodies or is it at a standstill? 10.)Name/Age/General Location If you fill this out, you rock. And +20 points. .

I would like to see fashion and technology merge. Once I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt with an electronic counter, counting from 9-0, on the front of the shirt. By the way, I'm and engineering major. Also, I think it would be great if somebody invented clothes that change colors and designs. I like the old-school Kik-Wear pants, with glowstick pockets. Just my two cents.

Yeah I was there for advertising last year, didnt like my major realized I had smoked myself retarded all summer and missed the deadline to switch so i went to harold washington. Ugh, i cant wait to go back.

lol small world. Nice. I'll be starting my 3rd year there next fall.
I'll be in Columbia's fashion show; you should chk it out. ;] I'm not sure if it's going to be part of Manifest or just a separate thing. But yeah. I'm pretty excited about that. -zero

All I know is I've seen assloads of hipsters adorned in tons of neon and retro. I'm down with the old school colorful hi-top sneakers. I know its the popular thing, but I'm kind of sick of seeing supposedly straight guys wearing these nuthugger skinny jeans. It affects the way they walk. If you're over 21 and wanna see some crazy styles go to funky buddha on gay night.
