Party Monster/ No Rave

This was in no way a rave to me. It was a basement party; like some college party at SIU . I guess I should have known, because it said "party" monster. What happened to 2 rooms? Source should have given the heads up on the venue being so small. There was no place to dance. I had to keep attending to my girlfriend who felt claustrophobic. The music was so low, even before it was off for like 15 min. Wow. Source should have known that a lot of people would show up, and had a bigger venue.
Still waiting for the next rave in Chicago....

ahhh... it wasnt all that bad...the only thing i wasnt too into was the size of the venue...i really wanted to dance ...after people started clearing out, it was alot better. cooler atleast.
it was great seeing everyone tho cant wait for kickback!

Source disappointed you?! Source put their ass on the line to throw that party - it was fun as hell and a lot better then spending your night somewhere else. Source doesn't have to go balls out at every party

Yeah, I mean it literally, SIU at Carbondale. I went to art school there, and graduated in 04. This was just like a party down there, only difference was that you could go up in the kitchen and backyard, and there were like 6 of these Party Monsters going on like in a 10 block radius.... (there wasn't any glowstuff though)

Thank you to everyone that came out last night. We had a great time. We had the cops come by and still went off with out a shut down. For the people that had a good time thanks one more time and for the people that did not sorry but our party monster is a much smaller event not like our other events. But it seems that it it growing much bigger every time so we have to change it. One last thing we don’t just do big events we also do smaller shows. We just promoted this event for only one week and we did not expect to have so many people at this show.

it was to dusty and nasty and crowded...and some of the music was ok most was good i jammed out....its just meh the vibebs there werent that great to me

Chicago should maybe go back to throwin smaller parties on fridays. In those days, there were always three parties on the weekend. There were two small scale parties on Friday, and a “full scale event” on Saturday.
Loft and underground basement parties should be held on fri. Also, then there could be 2 shows booked on one weekend without conflicting dates. Just a thought....

^^completely agree about the smaller parties on friday, i've noticed this trend over the past few months. This party was alright, it was funny seeeing all the retards freaking out when the cops rolled by. They were knocking on the door, and some reatrd was all "Someone should open that for them" he kept repeating that for about 5 minutes until he was promptly told to shut the fuck up, gotta love those people.
