What really pissed me off was that i got sum of the best candy ever, and i lost its feeling cuz i had to walk around forever. I'd like to see sum1 try to top this story, i dont think its happenin. In fact, i should, like, get sumthin for this one, like an award, or a free pass to the next one. lol or sumthin. j/k

IDK how many times i accidently knocked my cherry off of my cigarrette on sum1. Next event needs a venue that has a little more space, or shorten the lineups. i'd also say that if you do have this many dj's again, post a list of which room they'l be playing, inside the venue.

Thats the first few tings i had to say, the next aren't so pleasant. alright, so i left the place a little early, but as i was leavin, i just started walkin the same way as sum other people who were leavin. they started actin all wierd on me, cuz they thought i was stalkin them or sum stupid shit. so i took my hood down, and told them i just came from there. then i noticed that i was walkin in the other direction from the mappoint(i parked there and hitched a ride). so i asked them if i could get a ride. and one of the bitches in the group was like, if u give me five ciggarretes, and i had like 8, so i told her fuck that, and she took one neways, and said i couldnt have the ride, cuz they had to be home by two, and they had a thirty minute drive. Just incase that girl or her friends happens to get on here, i ended up walking around till like 3 in the morning, bcuz i dont live in chicago, and didnt kno where the fuck i was going. FUCK U, YOU FUCKIN SELFISH ASS BITCH!those streets fuck with you, they dont always stay divided with numbered and named streets running perpendicular to each other. iprolly walkd in circles a few times, neways sum1 else leavin the party denied me on a ride too, sayin they were goin the other way. it woulda took them ten minutes to take me to my car, versuses(if i hadnt walked in circles) a forty five minute walk, FUCK YOU TOO! i would have given sum1 a ride in a heartbeat. it was fuckin COLD!

neways, u kno who did give me a ride? this old black dude, and his girl. they were prolly winos, cuz they were slurrin pretty good, but they'd seen me walkin around for awhile or sumthin, and he asked me what i was doin, i told him and he asked if he could have two bucks and a cigarrette and i was sold. he was a pretty nice guy, a drunk, but he was funny. Neways, that was the least i expected to happen. i was definetly expecting that people comin from the party would be a little less selfish, and that i'd get the shaft from the locals. neways, while i was there, i was happy to hear Let the bass kick, that track tears it up. the music was bumpin, but the hallways were crammed, so it wasnt easy to go from one stage to another.

Not to mention the fact that sum1 left half a cinder block in the middle of the fuckin street, and to the left, half a jagged ass milk crate. well, me bein from iowa, i was just like, oh its snow ot sumthin(the cinder block), then as i came up i saw it wasnt. neways, i hit it alittle, backed up, looked under the car, it looked fine. so i drove away. this is like three in the morning, so around like four or five i noticed the oil pressure light like came on every now and then while i was shifting. i put sum oil in it, and drove off. Sumwhere around Rock Island, as i was doin about a hundred and ten, i noticed a bad ass ticking noise, so i let my foot off the gas, and then BAM! i hear sum shit grind, and my car dies. AWESOME! my parents didnt even kno i was in Illinois until i called them to tell em, and i had just bought the car like a month and a half previously. no insurance of course, either. apparently that faggotty ass brick put a hole in my oil pan, and i pretty much blew my motor. luckily, i know a dude that could tow a car, unluckily iwas like 3 1/2 hours from des moines. a cop gave me a ride,( my first ride in a cop car where it didnt invole nething illegal) to the red apple diner, and i had to stay there from around 8:30, until almost four in the afternoon. the people there were ool, even gave me free lunch and drinks, but mind u, i hadnt slept in about 36 hours or so. so i had to sleep, bad, and idk about you guys, but sleepin with ur head on ur arms on the counter of a diner is NOT COOL!

The rave was cool and all, but to be quite honest, Saturday and today were sum of the worst days of my life! A lot of maybes are left out there. And now, thanks to mr. Faggoty Cinderblock, i have to pay more for a new engine and labor then i did for the car!

Thank you, World of Source, but to be honest, i should have stayed home with my g/f and spent valentines day with her.

Ok dudie, here is HOW YOU POST a great "First Rave" Story, read and learn. Actually it was my 1st rave too so it's all 100% true.

" As many of you might know I'm Danny, the guy who was giving away some of my free demo cd's to everybody who wanted them. Very hard to be left unnoticed, I had a black leather backpack and I'm very short, about 5'4', look like I'm 16, very young with a baby face. Anyways, here's the story of my first rave.

Not being very familiar with the city, I decided to do this as I always wanted to go to one of the "Dream Places" I had in mind since I came to the States (2001): A Rave. Being very influenced by all kinds of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), I was having high expectations of what I considered a Rave. I was expecting it to be something magical, a unique place, and it was in some sense.

I started up by buying some caffeine and taking the Metra to the city. I realized the station that I had to take to map point was one of them that you have to request on station so I did. There was a delay in the rails and then they almost forgot to mention the station i was supposed to get off, which i almost miss my chance to leave the train (how a great way to get this started!) Anyways, from there it happened what I think it was one of the most unexpected things, one of those that happen to you by "circumstances" instead of chance (even though i dont believe much in circumstances). Following the weak-made map made by google maps I took the bus in the wrong direction: the only thing that covinced me was the flashing sign in the bus, which the driver forgot (was too lazy) to change. Great! Now I'm getting one of the people who was going to go with me from map point behind because of this (you might wanna re-read this part). So, after discussing the great importance of changing the sign to the bus driver, I had to wait until the next bus comes. I understand I had to know which way i was going (east, west) but his job also demands changing sings, but he didn't. I guess its a lesson learned. By the way, Sorry again Kristle and TheWood about leaving you hanging like this. Well, I got to map-point and here it was: what it totally changed me. I talked to the guys inside how to get there but i wasnt having the patience of waiting another hour for the bus to come so, I thought... what if i walked. NO WAY!! Too cold for a long walking, i checked my pockets and realized I could have my first "rave" ride. After all, I had enough money and even though most PLUR people go to raves, money talks. so yea, JOEYIN, re read this part 10 times at least until you get it.

Ok, now a new paragraph for the part that I think it was totally meant to be in my life. I come from the south burbs of chicago, about 55 minutes away from the city. So, I got back to the map point, and tried to get somebody to get me a ride, so I saw the first group of people and I asked one of them: "I'm going where you're going (showed my wristband), do you need 10 bucks for ride". He pretty much acted like he didn't hear me so I made him notice me so he said "Yeah, sorry bro, come in" Just like that. Of course, we were listneing to my demo CD and bumping all the way to the place. The funny thing is that when i asked where they were from they said a town that is 5 min away from mine!!! It couldn't be better!! Now i dont just have a ride to go to the party and back home, but also have a great friendship, aaaaaand this is not temporary; we can go whenever we want and its only 5 min from home, so expect to see me more often at upcoming parties. so yea thanks a lot Ruben and Matt and her sister, I'm very happy for meeting you. You have my love and respect.

Ok, this last part is about what I thought about the rave as to be my first one. As I said, i had high expectations about what I considered a "Rave". Even though I heard Cali and LA are the best and Chicago's is kinda "dying", I dont think this is true. Like source stated in previous threads, 773 ppl went to the party. And there were other parties going on that same night believe me. OK, I kinda got upset knowing that it wasnt what i (totally) expected but I really liked it anyways. I think personally that the room downstairs was the most ventilated one and the best music (overall) that was played continuously in a flowed mannered. I also think there were young people but its hard to tell how old they were, Im 21 and look like im 16 at the most, believe me. I met so many cool people like Maggie who likes the place I'm from: Argentina and knows how to speak it fluently. I stayed till 8am to help because I'm a giver not a taker and I got to meet Nino who I so wanted to meet! I was asking for him all night. I have high hopes for you Nino! You're not too old to keep doing this; it has already started, we can do something together, just let me know "Llamame cuando puedas"

I hope you liked this story better than the other jerkoff who complains about everything and calls offensive names to the people who don't deserve it, all that goes back to you and never come to Chicago if you' re not prepared "

PLUR
