Hello everyone! I went to my first rave on Sat. (HUMP 3D) and had the best night of my life! Everyone was so cool. I have been into the music for a very long time, but have never been into the scene before. I do computer animation and video, and would like to help out anyone who would like to have large scale video at their party. I own a Epson digital projector that is able to project an image up to 30 ft big (under the right conditions). I have a degree in broadcasting, and have worked as a producer in cable TV. here are some links to my past work. I do all my own graphic work, and I don't steal other peoples work and try to pass it of as my own, so please be careful with these. The music is barrowed as these are demos, and Im not a musician. Also please note that these are very low quality versions of HUGE, high quality files. All my work is done at higher then DVD quality, and most of my new stuff is done at 720p HDTV res.

Of all the video work that I have done, this the type that I enjoy the most.

get more into the scene, and get to know the promoters a lot better. A lot of the times promoters hire their friends to do stuff like this, im sure if you pass your demo around the midwest you might get asked to do visuals.

I know what you mean about it being a close group of people who don't like outsiders, compleatly different from when I was working concerts. I khow the people who did the documentry "Better Living Through Circuitry" about the rave scene had problems with people in the scene not wanting outrsiders interfearing with their world. Im a really cool easy going guy to work with, but you may be right about becoming more involved in the scene first. I just didn't want to kick myself latter when someone asks me why I didn't speak up sooner.

well, i may be throwing a loft party sometime soon, i may want visuals not sure how much you charge though. (it is for for my bday also)

WOW, that is some trippy animation. I think you could definitely help out the scene. If you keep raving in chicago you should be able to meet enough friends and maybe even promoters and show them what you've got. I'm sure somebody will be impressed.

It'll be close to this, there is a massive difference between doing a 120 min concert, and a 6 hour rave, so It's going to be very repetative. Not uninteresting, but the scenes will last a little longer then Im used to. it will have the same energy and beat, but you'll see alot of looping graphix.
