![]() Technical Itch - [Tech Itch Recordings] - Bristol, UK Labeled by his fans as "The Dark Don of Drum and Bass," Technical Itch has infiltrated the masses worldwide with his dark sound for over a decade. With 2006 seeing the 50th release on the Tech Itch label and up to 25 releases on sister label Penetration, it is apparent that Tech Itch's stronghold over the drum & bass community is without question. Technical Itch is easily one of the most sought-after and heralded producers in the game. He is the most in-demand DJ on Anger Management's roster, playing nearly every weekend in the UK and Europe, along with frequent tours throughout the United States with us here at Circle. Since the very beginning of Tech Itch's music career he has worked closely with America's premier drum & bass figure DJ Dieselboy on a number of projects and remixes. Currently, you can catch a glimpse of their music video for their original track Atlantic State in the Michael Mann movie, "Miami Vice," and their remix of "Hooked" by Dom & Gridlok is devastating clubs and events the world over. Even celebrity drum & bass head Goldie has partnered up with Technical Itch, having produced the film soundtrack for Goldie's forthcoming movie project. Other recent collaborations include the Tech Freak imprint with Freak/Obscene label owner Dylan and working with film composer Don Davis on a track for the Animatrix series. 2006 had Technical Itch busy as ever in an eclectic assortment of projects! Recently he signed with X-Rated Management, which has him doing remix work for Mercury Music prize nominee Pink Punk, Lisa Gerard's (of Dead Can Dance fame) new band Lief and Chuck D's Fine Arts Militia project. Also, with the ever-expanding draw for dubstep, he co-created the imprint Ascension as an outlet for releasing his downtempo style. With all this under his belt, Technical Itch is seriously one to reckon with for years to come |
