Insomnia Review and fist fight?

Alright so I guess you can say I "went" to Insomnia even though I believe that Steve, Chris, Carl & myself were there for abouuut... an hour?? We were all a little put off about it before we even got there because Chris was giving us the run-down on the Cicero cops (Asshole Extraordinaires). So we get there & downstairs was a little ehhh but as soon as we climbed the stairs I was like, Alright I can deffffinitely get into this! Started dancing around, playing with my little LED lights & then I noticed an annoying amount of cops pushing their way around and, you know, essentially messing up my rhythem. I was like wahteverrrr.... then some of our group started to worry a bit w/ the amount of cops & how up our asses they were & we started to get a bit nervous... you know, wondering if they were gonna pull any tricks like "oh hey lets strip search random people & arrest them!" kind of a thing.. and then, lo & behold, my good friend Carl nearly got fucked (not literally, whew) in the bathroom by a cop & that was when we all came to the same decision: let's get the fuck out of here.

Props to Source for trying to bring the clubbers & ravers together even though, as the Leo/TJ/Michelle+assholeclubbers fight showed us, it didn't really work out too well The music was hella awesome though & i was totally ready to get my groove on had it not been for the pigs that fucked it up for us.

Aaaaaanyway, can't wait for the Massive!

Yah, It is kinda hard to "Keep it Underground" when there r cops everywere searching everyone. I think that fact alone made it more like a high school dance then a rave. No one over 21 was going to stay there w/ no alcohol and a pig roast. The venue was totally awsome! Nice big space, good sound, cool lights/lasers, but it was hard to let loose with cops everywere. $5 parking was kinda a rip-off.

yea the cops were insane like body guards or something fine but that many cops and tha pat down and bag checks after every cig break was complete bull shit. but i like how they were busting the potheads and shit insde inthe main room thats good and keeping things safe but like shit they can get big bodyguard men to do that not asshole cops

First off let me say dont u ever threton my friends and think your gonna get away with it. If i saw u take a swing at them i would drag u outside by your jaw and continue to brutally beat u till there was no movement. Second those clubers deserved every bit. Very bad decision on source's part to try and conjoin the groups. Thats like haveing a lockdown with the kkk and the black panthers at the YMCA. Pot heads don't hurt people. Im pretty shure that a pothead didn't start the fight; raid the snack bar and stare at the lasers for a while, shure. But put forth the energy to fight or cause trouble, no.

THIS IS MY ANGRY TEXT!!!!!!!....jeesus people if i hear one more person go on with the he said she said Jaded raver bullshit...im gonna loose it...yeah..there's gonna be a party every now and then that doesnt meet the standards ...things are going to go wrong ...the fight ...heh..whatever ..prolly gave some people more entertainment...all in all the vibe is what you make of it ...and for what its worth it wasnt too bad...between the monsoon and the scene being split in half due to the other party...and the enormity of the venue, the turnout wasnt all that bad...the sound..amazing...i laid flat on the floor and i could feel the bass in my teeth...the lights ...out of this world. the most iv seen in a while ....and the djs did awesome made me sweat my ass off.

I never said that you said the potheads started the fight. What I was trying to say is that the potheads were not the problem, and were not the one making it unsafe. I was totally sober at the party, and I did not fear for my safety from potheads.

dude the chick cop that frisked me i think mightve liked to frisk me a lil too much, way creepy. the venue was alright but it reminded me of a hs dance the way it was in a f*ckin gym...i was kinda disappointed in the afterhours, i was bringing my firend to insomnia fer her 1st rave n when we got to the afterhrs they were chargin 20 bux a pop n all we had was 5bux fer gas!! oh well, the beats didnt seem too good neways...so howabout MASSIVE?!
