wow so many post later and u guys haven't said a thing, are me and jexey the only people who realize how futile this 'argument' of u guys is. i'm not on either side like i said before, i'm just saying u guys should just stop because 90% of the points u've made are cheapshots(like singling out one song out of thousands) rather than plausible reasons why ur genre is better.

so for the sake of this poor dj that just wanted to say hi(i bet he cant wait to come to chicago now, with all the good vibes flowin andwhatnot), and the integrity of chicago rl boards. cut it the fuck out please

Ok kids.

1. LadyLuck has been raving for 7 years.

Just felt like I needed to let that be know.

Ok I've always loved trance, yes some can be shitty but some isn't.

Ok, DNB, I love DNB if it is done right.

Look how stupid this forsaken argument is. You're fighting over someone's opinion! What happened to freedom of speach, if you come to this MB to start drama then why not grown up a bit and do something more productive with yourself?

Over half of us are drugfree and we still like Trance. Some of us begain with the music before the drugs, and some still remain.

Yeah, Chicago is Jaded, why? Because we are naiz's.

had you been that knowledgable you wouldn't have even begun this debate.
If you would have understood that there are many classifications under the genre of trance you would not have criticized anyone.
This basically boils down to you not knowing.

I threw in vocal because "vocal" trance is made when someone takes lyrics or melodies from an original song and uses it in their mixes. This is sometimes a good thing, they are able to mix the old with the new and make an updated sound that may be better than the original. The new sounds provided by our new technology and synthesizers that were not available in the old days. It was a mere comparison.

I commend you for giving your reasoning for not liking trance but it is wrong to make generalizations about those who do. You are labeling people a little too much, not all trance fans are "etards" or "followers". Most of us do not listen to just trance. We are able to connect with it and feel it which in turn allows us to dance to it freely and enjoy it to it's fullest.

Your argument has no knowledge behind it or you would have to admitt that people are allowed to like whatever music they want and they can feel it. This means you are simply listening to music and that goes for all types. You don't feel it and that makes me sad for you, music alms even the savage beast so what does that make you?!

All music is good in some way and if you can't see that then I hope you go deaf soon....so you won't have to be this hateful for no reason. Experience music don't just stick it in your cd player and hit the damn play button. Listen to the lyrics and the melodies...not just the bass and beats behind it...if you can't manage that come over I will be glad to let you listen to some music and help you understand what is meant to do cause you don't seem to get it.

As for you're hatred...glad you have this much passion for something, direct this passion for hatred to something more worth while don't you, like bringing our troops home or lobby for animal rights. If you hate it this much I will be glad to not see you there so you dont ruin anyone's night.

"I am not the mouth for these ears, they do not understand me...."

knowl·edge
n.

Carnal knowledge.

way to correlate those two there. everyone can see the connection now. very clear.

please, impart your knowledge and tell me excactly what technological entity allowed this change. while you're at it, cite specific tracks indicating 'vocal trance's' evolution into its own genre.

You need to read. What have I said three times now. What is the appeal of trance?

You are generalizing too much here. i said epic trance is brain fart sheep music that is machine made for a burn out high octane E'd up crowd, which it is, and i said it sucks. I've never told anyone to do anything, especially what music to listen to. Maybe i'm exercising my first amendment rights. maybe.

Your arguments seem pretty ambiguous, care to provide some actual information there to back up your points? logic or knowledge maybe?
