DONT

*dont stand infront of the venue.
*dont go in and out.
*dont expect clean venues. but most of the time they are clean.
*dont come fu#ked up.
*dont wander around the area.
*dont do anything that police will frown on. (esp in front of the space!)
*dont dance with glow sticks in front. (raver red flag, dont attract attention)
*dont walk around drinking beer.
*if a cop asks you where your comming from..dont tell them the rave.
say friends party. or make sumthin up.
*dont leave stacks of flyers everywhere
*dont forget anything in your car, bring lighter, cigs, cellphone, money and cigs(if apply) and if your short get some befor you come.

bottom line_________come to tha show, stay INSIDE the show, and make sure you make the best of anything you do at these parties, never assume the space is legit, and REMEMBER THE MUSIC IS ALL WAYS #1.

really these things are all common sense and we should not have to tell people this, but ive seen all these rules broken, this is kinda like a secret society and we dont need to advertize if i forgot anything please feel free to add it on..

@ M.I.A. partys these rules are a must.

It's sad that this needs to be posted. Oh, I have a REALLY good idea.


At a party, there is somthing called a "Dance floor".

At this dance floor, you have a great time, but one thing we should all know it's not for.


*The dance floor is not a path for you to walk aimlessly through for no apprent reason I know it's a hard task to get from on point to the other without walking through where people aren't dancing. But please try, for the sake of the people who are there to actually party.

(Not to get confused with accidently bumping into people, its the people that WALK through the dance floor)

If you're one of those people that go to raves, get high, and stand in the corner, to eventually become useless, please, keep in mind, don't walk through where the people are dancing. You can use the back of the party, where people aren't dancing.


It's irritating to be totally zoned in, having a great time and totally chilled and then someone comes walking smack-dab into you. Disagree with me all you want, but seriously. I also don't mean to be steryotypical or rude about anyone or anything. Of course parties and events don't come with a rule book, the reason is they're common sense. We're here for the music and the fun - to take time from the fucked up world we're in, and make good of it. For anything else of your choice you commence to do, so be it, and that's totally cool and up to you, but do it in the right way, at the very least. It makes me upset that someone was being selfish Saturday night, and pretty much ended for the rest of us, that of course was my first source event here in Chicago, so I'm not sure how things roll either, so I can't judge. This is all my opnion though. Cheers!
