Greeting all, I ask a favor of you all. Study our history in house music....Trax records.... foundational vets to which we dance to.....they deserve a salute! It started with 3 select sounds imho....what's your opinion? House, techno, acid, disco. hip hop or drum and bass?

Drum & Bass for me. The mix of slower beats and fast-paced clicks and whistles is just a perfect combination in my opinion. It's good to dance AND fall asleep to, lol.

Electronic music started earlier then most people probably think. Before Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, or even Frankie Knuckles there were all these abstract tape loop artists in france (circa 1950's). Essentially what they were doing was setting up sonic environments where the sounds were created precisely for the space which they were played in. The goal of the artist was to have the sounds completely transform the environment and send the listener into some sort of trance. If it weren't for this, we all could say goodbye to what we love.
