So in the last week ive gone from an 18 to an 8. My left ear seems to be fine, but my right ear just fucking hurts, what should i put on it to make sure it doesnt get infected?

That's a nice little jump you made. Did you rip anything? I remember going from a 6 to a 2, I tore my left lobe a little bit. It has since healed, but for the first few hours of it being in, holy shit there was a ton of blood.
I'd suggest maybe putting a little Neosporin in/around the area. That'll reduce the chance of infection and speed up the healing process. |

Going from 18 to 8 is a pretty big step tho. Think J is right. Neosporin.

they have it covered so ther eisn't much left to say but keep it clean and don't sleep on it...any kind of triple antibiotic ointment is good but make sure you don't leave it on too long or it will crust up and make it worse. You have to change it frequently and swab the area with a qtip.
Just a side note...Don't go to 0 unless you are sure you want them for the rest of your life. I took mine out for 3 years and they are still at a 2. They closed a bit but not much at all....I have heard of some people's closing up fairly quick but I had no such luck so I gave in and put a 2 back in... |

^^ Yeah one of mine fell out at a 2, so I took the other one out the same day so I didn't look like a shmuck. They closed up very very quickly.
I miss them. ![]() |
