Downtempo?

I quit raving - and the drugs - several years ago. But I've been through a lot of shit lately, heard about this "Love Is..." event, and am considering going. I always ended up making a new friend at raves (this sounds so lame, but I guess that is part of the vibe either way). Just thought it may be something to do to meet some friendly people. Anyone know if there will be downtempo played there? Or where they would play that, or if they still play that? And on a separate tip, since I don't know ANYONE that raves anymore, is there anyone that would consider adding a cool guy to their plans? Seriously non-creepy dude just looking for a good time.

DOWNTEMPO IS THE SHIT, basically.

and since its the shit, it dosen't get much(any) play at raves in chicago(or the midwest, besides chilluminati/entheon events maybe). i'd kill to jam out to some at a party tho. some of the best music to dance to, ever. u'd probably have to hitup some clubs to find downtempo around here.

love is, is going to be mostly hard___ and ___core and dnb and techno. and thats how it goes...
