Countdown 06 Aftermath

I had a fucking ton of fun! Phoenix got mad points for wanting everyone to have a great time! We are making him come down for Party Monster and we'll all have to show him a good time. Plus my one of the girl's birthday is the 13 and we'll need to show her a good time.
The music upstairs was great. I wish I hasn't been running around so much that I could of danced and stuff. We took lots of pictures.
I'm glad that the preparty and afterparty went so well. I had never done this before and stupidly enought hadn't put to thought what the building would do. Luckly they never bothered us thanks to everyone being darlings and keeping the noise down. Sorry to everyone who saw me around 8amish-2pmish. I was getting cranky and tired but didn't want to make anyone leave before they wanted to but either way everyone was super cool.
I met tons of people and got numbers. The people who I met were super cool.
The bust sucked. I almost got tackled down by some guy in dreads. And we kinda freaked out and left thinking they were closing down the rave. But that's ok cause we ended up chilling at my place and inviting people over.

i think dank covered all the good points so i'll be lazy and not say it again. we had a real chill crew last night. best party i've been to in chicago and i cant wait todo it again(just need a day or 2 to recooperate ).

Perfect time to post and say hey to all the RLers who made the party extra kickin'...Countdown was really inspiring, and like ppl have said, really puts faith back into the Chicago scene... The party was unlike any parties for quite a while... Personally, I have to say the vibe was just like everyone described, old school yet new, underground and free, a little silly with alcohol (since when did raves have alcohol, (listen to me rant even tho i was drinking myself ) Dankdank, Jill, Tommyguns, all the RLers up in the mad dnb room, thanks for everything and the great vibes and can't wait till the next party ...hope i can make it out to Monster...

that party was dope yo...hopefully ill be able to make it out for monster...jill the preparty was dope every over there was cool as all hell and i will definately be back up there (at the latest 4th of july) looking fowrd to seeing everyone again...peace

DJ Nietzsche hits a very good point. i understood serving alcohol there due to it being new years eve... but the only negative vibes i got at all from that party was the drunk people in line for the bathroom. take that out of the equation and it would've been all good.
