Chicago area EDM messageboards?

I just moved to chicago a few days ago from Philly. I would like to plug into the nightlife scene out here, and figure the best way to meet some heads is forums/messageboards for house or trance music. Does anyone know of any?

trance isnt big in chicago anywhere but the club scene, the main 2 boards u need to know about are here and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] . we dont have forums geared toward a specific genre(although younger ravers hangout here and older ones on medm so they like different stuff generally).

thers a few smaller ones around catering to smaller events and crews, but yea i'm too lazy to get a list of those.

Well, really I am looking for a site/forum where local heads of varying tastes go to shoot the shit during the day as well as post event info and music discussion. Something like this, but a little more active. I'm trying to meet people in the West Chicago suburb area who like EDM.

I will be moving to Chicago fairly soon for school. I will be living right up town near Michigan St.

What are some good clubs in the area? I can easily take a train to Chicago for a night so hoping to check some out soon!

y'all should check out ****************. it's still a really new and small site populated by kids from the san francisco area but you could start a community there.

yes, i told someone i would promote for him. it's still a chill place, though, and the kids dig trance.

ya medm is really all u need, but i like this place too since its more event focused(has less events than medm tho), and dosent really have that whole group of know-it-alls who post but dont go out to any of the events, the same ones that bitch about anything rave-related...ykno.
