Hey, whats up everyone. Just found your site here. Its been a long long time since ive been to a party and i wanna come out and tear it up. Are there any good house parties coming up in chicago? I hate trance and techno isn't my cup of tea either, its gotta be house!!!

Well gee.. house? duh! Just go to any normal nightclub and you'll find house music. House isnt rave, so yer lookin in the wrong place for info on something thats been mainstream before techno even got started. lol

yea, but you cant go nuts on the floor at a club like you can at a party. I wanna jump, spin, and break, just cant do that at clubs. and back in the day there was hella good house at parties.

house music seems to be to normal for raves now... its all about the faster harder techy sounds at raves now it seems.. all good for us cuz were all about the drum n bass so boooo to it alll ... jk. big up all underground music

Seems like all of the new kids comin' into the scene like hard forms of EDM, which is cool.

Stuff like Hardcore, US Hard House, DnB, Hard Techno.

What the fuck are you talking about. You do realize that your posting in a chicago forum right? Seriously educate yourself before you type something like that again. 1979 Kraftwerk comes together (aka the godfathers of techno as in TECHNO), 1986 house music becomes popularised. Stop popping pills and start educating yourself.

Anyways if you wanna hear some good house hit up some loft partys, Ill measures, and TFU throw some every once in a while. Shit wont be posted online on forums though....

bite me. I've been ravin since 1988. I went to regular clubs before that. House was already in regular clubs way before 1988 and raves were just barely starting in the USA. So teach your gramma to suck eggs before you assume someone else is ignorant.

PLUR tho?... I remember when people started that up. It was a cute saying but truthfully never really existed in the scene. There was peace...while everyone was on the same drug (pure mdma). There was plenty of love, again when everyone was on the same drug (pure mdma). But Unity and Respect, mmmm not so much. (ok ok, maybe a little unity...) Now, with everything as trendy as it is, greedy unscrupulous promoters, arrogant DJ's, and every bad vibe type of drug and alcohol mix possible being used instead of pure mdma which has gotten rare...there isnt much peace and love either. Pretty sad.

I still hope I'm not 100% right tho

you're right.. it is sad. :/ But for me at least.. I like to think Im true to PLUR... well.. I dont need drugs to enjoy edm or have peace or love towards ravers .. and unity: I knda feel a special kind of bond or alliagance when I meet other ravers.. especially in indiana where there arent much.. and for respect .. I respect everyone.. lol. idk..

Dude it's all good. I wasn't saying it was a BAD idea, I am just saying it never really existed as an integral part of the scene. LOTS of people practiced it tho, and still do. I am gettin grouchy about it cuz today so many kids are into the harder sounds and they bring a more aggressive and violent vibe to parties these days that never shoulda been allowed to develop in the rave scene.

Still, you were in the right in your original comment.. I was being an ass..lol it's all good tho.
