well i plan on partying it up on the 19th and im confused on which party to go to.... now im not asking for "which one is better" at all, i just wanna know which one would provide me a better night of fun. im going with a few freinds and we'd like to have a night full of dancing and meetin new ppl, both parties work in terms of the lineup and music etc.
but... which one will be bigger? obviously it depends on who shows up ThAt NiGhT ,but i mean in general ...which one is planned to be a massive 420 party or the more casual rave scene kinda thing...i guess we'd be lookin for the massive 420 party how long can we partty? i kno caKE has no end time on the flyer so thats a plus im bringing a buddy who's 17, but the flyers dont list ages...will that be an issue for either of these 2 events? if anyone has info on caKE or Blowout 2 (more in depth then just the flyer and info sites)and can perhaps help me decide which event will be better for my freinds and i please let me know!!! is there another Chicago party im missing out on? i also realize that these are the 2 events that iIVE heard of on 4-19 in the city, but hey if theres another event im skipping ...lemme kno, maybe it'll be better then both blowout 2 and cake |

caKE? I'm not sure I've heard of that event.
Anyway, ok... I think it all depends on what kind of music you and your friends are into. If you're into more harder styles of EDM, then by all means head to Rockford for Blowout 2. Styles such as Hardstyle, Hardcore, and Drum & Bass will be featured. It won't be a massive and has more local and up-coming talent. The Manhattan Project will be headlining this event. If you're into other styles such as House, Breaks, and some Drum & Bass, then Light It Up is where you should go. This event will probably be the bigger one plus has a bigger headliner, Reid Speed. Don't let anyone TELL you where to go. Make that decision on your own. Either way, have a great and safe time. |

people are speculating that liu will be the biggest. I'm hoping many people are willing and excited for a mini road trip.

I haven't partied/performed in Rockford in a long time so I'm looking forward to it. I'm NOT, however, looking forward to being at work Sunday morning at 10am.
