well just to let u know im not djjd im dan from indiana and i know djjd and all he talked about was how he wanted u guys to enjoy the party granted alot of stuff went wrong monologic having family probs and vene issuses im just thankful that there are ppl who throw parties even tho they lose lots of money cuz otherwise all we'd have is clubs and that would suck. the only way we will have cheaper better parties is if all us ravers start promotin more than on the boards and get new ppl to come that way promoters can actually afford to lower prices and still be able to pay for what need to be paid for PLUR

there comes a point when plur becomes nothing more than ignorance, and defendind a promoter just for the fact that he's a promoter is a prime example, especially when alot of u ravers haven't even been to a decent rave(aka one outside of chicago limits)let alone an awesome one(aka cali )

"PLUR" becomes meaningless when it becomes a tool. People getting shitfaced in this "business" is a complete letdown, a turnoff.

Money's tight these days. Especially for college kids. Not all of us can afford to just blow 25$ on some party that's halfassed.

People who go just because "it's a party" are just...I dunno. I don't get it. Maybe because I'm really tight with my money. Quality > Quantity.

I agree with this point, i just wanna point somethin out, cuzi think maybe its relevant.i got a couple friends down in SoCal, and from what i hear they pay 20-30$ minimum for a typical party and up to 60$ if theres a sick lineup. That is unheard of here, just to put it in perspective. Not saying LUcky charms was totally worth what i paid, but i still have a good time and dont see that much reason to bitch. Iv blown 20$ on much stupider things..

... Thats the magic number. The is the most people that have attended a "Rave" in Chicago in the past 6 months. If you throw a good quailty event you will lose thousands, you build an event so you lose a little money or break even everyone bitches. Events are a lose / lose situation. You can flyer and promote your ass off online, and you will still draw the same 350 kids.

Also, I would love to distribute flyers down here in champaign/urbana or up in the burbs when im home; i know a decent amount of kids that would be interested that simply dont know about parties goin on. Not sure who to talk to about getting em in bulk...

yeah so if everyone is gonna start bithcing about everyting, either noone will trow parties, or even less people will attend
