bassnectar threw down for sure, both saturday night and for a little bit at the zoo sunday. excellent audio/visual experience at the park west, and a sweet day of free music at the zoo. i love chicago!

never had plans to go to light it up because it's too far. i can really only get to north side chicago events. i was sorta planning on going to either sprung or caKe but i didn't have a ride to those places but i ended up getting a ride to a loft party on the west side so it was all good.

my only regret about the weekend was not seeing any of the 3 sets eliot lipp was supposed to play while he was in chicago this weekend: opening for bassnectar (i got there late), his late set at sprung (never made it out there), and a show he played a bar somewhere in the city (cus i was too damn tired from the weekend)
