alright alright, everyone is getting way too worked up. all he MEANT was bassnectar's coming to town and everyone should go see him. maybe he "worded it wrong" by the intent wasn't bad. we all know that seismic bass throws the best parties and we would DEFINITELY be at light it up if bassnectar wasn't coming. and everyone should be able to go to wherever they want without criticism, whether its bassnectar on the night of light it up or LIU itself. so um..everyone (danceparty + the people who posted against him), just chill.

You chill out. He specifically called out LIU. We're not criticizing you pussies for going, we're criticizing him for specifically saying don't go to LIU. Please keep your posts to yourself if you do not understand the situation.

so im checking out the site for the green apple festival in chicago...and the front flyer says "april 20th" and lists bassnectar as part of the music line up...but then when you check the 'shows' listing, it says "april 19th - bassnectar - park west" ....so when is he playing in park west? the 19th or the 20th?

He's playing at parkwest on the 19th and at the zoo on the 20th. 2:45-3:15pm on Sunday [20th].

after i researced a bit more i figured that out, but thanx for the clarification. so how many people are going to the zoo on the 20th? i would like to go to the park west show the night of the 19th and then stay till for the daytime show on the 20th, but i dunno where i would stay in the chicago area over night.

I went to this show. Been waiting to check out the Park West since it's across the street. Really cool people and vibe.Zion I had some conscious lyrics on the mic. Bassnectar was intresting but, sort of slow paced.
At around 1pm I went to Light it Up. Almost got lost in the fog, but there was better music to dance to there.
