So I've noticed that there are a lot of parties going on in chicago the weekend of 4-20, but i mean really, who wants to go to chicago heights when bassnectar is spinning right here in the city?! Park West 4-19 Bassnectar, watch him actually have people dancing. I'll see you all there! peace!

yeah thats an asshole thing to do. Why call another event out like that? just let your event stand on its own. You talk like no one will be dancing at LIU. are you crazy? or are you just that big of an asshole. For some reason i think its the latter.

plus the call time is there 3, that is if it was a late show. and the show just got bumped from 11 to 9:30, so i don't imagine it would be such a late night. but i know i'm going to be having a wild night at light it up and thats a guarantee

Because we are united to bring back chicago's big underground parties. We have the vibe and the atmosphere and are backed by Chicago's hardest partyers. You have a Dj at a regular venue. How boring is that. We have a scene that we care about and love. And the LIU venue goes till 4a.m. so ha.

all the ravers who TRULY KNOW WHATS UP will still come to light it up . i plan to hitup that sunday show afterwards. his myspace says 3:00pm so hopefully thats somewhat right. bonus round/extended time limit ftw

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing him at that green apple festival.. Outside at the zoo is a much more appropriate venue for his music/following.

My intent is not to "single" out your party, light it up is just the most promoted for the weekend. But security there sucks, and besides, i dont want to try and dance over puddled kids who can hardly stand up because they ate too many drugs... guaranteed your party will great, i just feel that bassnectar knows who to move a crowd best. i will be in attendance for both shows, and how mature are we??? calling me an asshole via message board... i think we all need to grow up and realize everyone has opinions like assholes, so before you go and spout off about how i am an asshole, take a look at yourself and think about what you're saying broth'a. enjoy your parties, whichever you go to, and my opinion about where to go shouldn't affect where kiddies are going to go. Also, i think seismic bass parties are the best thrown, but bassnectar i mean, c'mon.... word. enjoy.

i've been to oasis twice and had no problem with security. not one

i've also been to every seismic bass party and havent seen one person sitting on the dancefloor. not one. at local flavor there were a bunch of us gettin down in a circle. good fuckin times.

so i'm curious what are these claims are based on? and even if they were true(which they aren't). seismic has never done a 2 room party, and has never done a party @ oasis. so u should probably hold off on any ill-conceived expectations because they are just completely unfounded. its more like bitchy gossip dude, hence all the responses u got.

ur right, bassnectar is the shit. me n my homes drove 9hours to missouri in november to see him. but supporting the promoters who by your words 'throw the best parties in town' is more important to me as they will be around and BN wont

If you were just talking about an event, why even bring another party into it. very very passive aggressive.and how mature is that? I'd rather call someone an asshole on a message board, then beat around the bush like you did. But again thats just me.
