Atten. Chicago Djs and Producers

I have lived in Chicago for almost a year and I have found that there is a lot of djs here. The downside of this is that there is a lot of competition and it can be a real challenge to get gigs unless you know the right people (which in our case we know nobody). Recently I have been thinking of ways to take matters into my own hands. I have found a few smaller clubs in the area that would consider letting me book a night if i could get the people in the door.

So I'm thinking if I can get a group of djs and producers from the area, we can all book a event together. Say we had 5 djs that each invited every-one they knew, that would be a lot of people. And any bar or club would love to have that many people come through their door. I can't promise you will make a lot of money, but its not about money its about getting experience and having a good time.
