Some of the smaller events dont get announced on this board till like a day or two beforehand so keep checkin back, cuz there is pretty much ALWAYS somethin goin on.

honestly it really isnt hard to find a party here(if ones gonig on), event threads have the dates on them, its 1 page to look at(not even) , also [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] has a calendar for smaller & club events. so no need to make a whole thread about it. however since this guy is from cali he probably expects crazy shit to be popping off every weekend. good luck w/ that =\

Ide becarefull about photoshoping fake event flyers though, some people dont read enough, print out a flyer and then show up to a bogus event. That would sure ruin my night

yea u have to be a chicago partyer to get that joke, because we dont get established names(talented or not) at raves often. some promoters argue that its more important(read: cheaper) to push local talent "because everyone was a local at one point"

as for the calendar, since the current incarnation of ravelinks(2005 and on or somethin). there has never been any chicago event posted on there, mostly because we didn't throw alot of legal shit until recently lol.

my advice to you: postpone ur trip till april 19th, then come to light it up and see real headliners . cause there is jack shit going on in chicago that weekend(that i know of)

Crap, welp, the floor of my dorm is going to Chicago to see Wicked and I would have rather gone to a rave, so a BUNCH of people are skipping it with me to go to an event.

Thanks for the help, but I would seriously be careful about posting fake fliers, I almost believed it, and would have probably shown up at the address with 6 other first timers only to find an empty lot, or a project of some kind. :P

Would have been funny, but someone is gonna see the flyer and make an attempt to go without reading...
