i remember shit was still poping in 2000.after 2000 that shit went to a stand still. where did the detroit scene go. is it dead or on the rise again.

Your guess is as good as mine. I remember the same thing, around 98-99 everything was kickin. Now it seems that you have to go elsewhere to find anything. I heard it was shady promoters that caused the demise of the scene, but who knows.
