Hey guys its been a long time since I have been on I have had school to deal with. Anyways I want to start a scene of some sort so far I have had a small group come to the house, But I would like to get a bigger group together the group now I have is cool but its not enough to bring out the decks and its gets a little boring after awhile. So I guess what i am asking is that does anyone want to hang out?

im in Grand Rapids.. I'm 29 and stopped partying many years ago. but i do like some good hard techno once in a while..
west michigan is a great place to live, but as far as techno-scene, it appears to be a wasteland in that respect. hit me up if you got some good ideas raverchic. peace btw. i'm originally from SoCal too! |

haha i guess we're all the same age then. that's cool. but that doesn't solve the problem of where the party's at!
someone is going to have to start promoting small events in downtown GR. do you live in the area too? why does everyone here love country music so much? there's a few clubs here, but the music sucks – too commercial. |

sweet I have 3 acres that we can have a party on but if you want to meet out one night some where club moxie is hot I went there once kinda like a san diego very upscale and down side is no seating. Usually I have a few friends here at the house and I play on my decks. but what eve is clever for me.

california was too expensive and I wasn't exactly minting money out there.. i always liked the midwest.. to some it's boring, but i enjoy the Great Lakes, in fact i like all lakes.. not much of an ocean person.. too big.. can't get to the "other side" easily. also SoCal doesn't rain much.. i like snow except for driving in it.. plus you can't beat the prices of homes out here. other than Chi-town, Madison and Minneapolis, I daresay MOST of the midwest, upper midwest and Great Plains states are relatively affordable so far as housing is concerned.. you can't buy a "2500 sq ft historic home" in California for $125k or less if you're willing to put in some elbow grease.. The same house out west would be like $550k and up easily – and it would not be historic, it would be an ugly post-war mid-century ugly split-level or run-of-the-mill tract home. In California, you're nothing if you don't make $80k-100k / yr AT LEAST. The reality of it is that it's more than just bikini-clad honeys and mojitos (though I certainly enjoy both).
