The Dead have risen
The Dead have risen from their graves in search of human flesh... again. Barbara and Johnny take a Sunday drive to visit their mothers grave but it quickly turns into a ridiculous blood covered sing along. This classic Horror scenario has been "dug up" many times before, but this re-animation has been amplified with a shot of high voltage Rock and Roll. It's bloodier and gorier than Trick or Treat. It's funnier than open mike night. And it will have you standing in the aisles singing aloud. Your skin will crawl, your ribs will ache and you won't know who to cheer for: the "dead" or the "so-called-living". The Night of the Living Dead - The Musical is directed by Thomas Hoagland, and features an eclectic company from Detroit's theatre community, and rock and roll scene, with Audra Kubat as "the Narrator", Billy West as "Johnny", Kelly Rossi as "Barbara, Randy Stewart as "Ben", Jen House as "Mother", leading the cast. The Live "dead" band is directed by Andy Lindblom.
