raves in michigan

hey whats up i just moved to newaygo from So-cal we are about an hour away from one another and me and my boyfriend want to start having house parties since we used to party levery weekend cali its hard to not have a party to go to....when we have one we will let you know

I live near Warren, about 20 minutes away - right off 13mile. I've never been to a rave (though due to age and parental restraints) but I want to experience one. For the dancing, glowsticking, and mere fun with someone. So if anything is discovered on either end maybe we could go and maybe with another person or two or few. lol

Just to fill you guys in if you are looking for parties in michigan well I guess you can call them raves even though no does any more go to the website Detroitluv.com scroll down to the loop and click on one offs there you will find all the parties that are in the detroit area.

Yeah..."raves" are somewhat of a rarity in Michigan these days and have been for some years. Mostly everything these days with the exception of Detroit is all club and bar events.

Those sites have alot of events geared towards Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids as well as Detroit (among other cities).

Unfortunately Michigan had a task force years ago (they make still be around) that did their best to make sure underground events would not keep happening. They definitely left their mark.

Go to neighboring state if you're looking for a REAL rave like Illinois, Indiana, Ohio or even Toronto. You'll not find anything here.

Hate to say it, but the rave scene here IS dead. You'll find only clubs or parties that's not really a rave.

Again, you'll find clubs and parties, but you won't find a rave here. Atleast not a real one like Cali, Toronto, NY, or Chi-town.

your just looking in all the wrong spots........my ask how old you are??? the warehouse distict partys have been long gone and over with... your right to a point.....there are some/most partys that are 100% leagel in clubs, ect.....you need to know the right people theres tons of afterhour partys going on and after partys for the so called leagel party....you want to know where to go hit me up on myspace ill fill you i on some more kidd-o
