I got screwed over royally at Shazzzam

My friend C and I spent two weeks busting our asses to get ready and get money together for Shazzzam.. man we were pumped. We spent 4 hours driving up from Cincy with our friend B. I couldn't keep myself under control I was so excited to get to Detroit. So what happened? We get there at 11, have to pay $25 a piece to get in. It's cool, that was our bad leaving at 7pm. So we hang out for about 3 hours once we get in. My friend B wasn't feeling good and needed to get outside to puke, we walked out the front with him and what happened?

At 2am they started charging readmission.. the bouncers tried to hustle $40 out of us to get back in. We didn't have it.. so what happened? We stood out in that fucking cold for an hour trying anything we could to get money.. so at 3am we hopped back in my car defeated and drove all the way back to Cincinnati... just when the party started heating up.. two weeks of preperation ruined because we walked out the front door 5 feet.. i didnt even realize that would happen cause they had let us out earlier in the night.. gfg

thats very sad, sorry to hear that man, but i am glad to see that ppl from outa state drove up for this event.

hey bro i hate to tell you but thats usually how things go im surprised they let you out 1 time before that, they can get in trouble letting people go in and out, they probably let you go out the first time because werent many people there but when you have 1500 people at a party they have to keep as many people from being out outside as they can for when the cops come by if they see alot of people outside they can shut it down cause its disturbing the public, you should have asked security again if you could go out..... that really sucks though i know if james the guy who was running it would have seen that he probably would have let you back in, but his people running the door have to do what they are told to, just let that be a lesson if youd have run up to the line to the bathroom and told people you needed to puke im sure they would have let you cut in line

when i be goin to raves i allways make sure i got money fer a hotel cause most of the time every one in my crew is way to fucked up to be driving any distance.bring more cash next time or
just puke on some one in the club or on the bar er in the conrer someshyt

this has got to be smartest guy on ravelinks. i dont go to a rave without at least a hundred bucks im ready to dump to get myself out of trouble. i just wish this was mexico so i could pay off the cops! ok no i dont wish this was mexico, thatd be terrible, but hey getting K on a street corner would be pretty cool. But ya, as for puking on someone in the bar, its a lot better than having to pay $40 for readmission!

I had a lot of fun there, I got to go on stage and dance and meet the djs, but that sucks about your friend puking in the corner. I wish they made more bathrooms or something. Didn't they stamp your hand so you could come back? I got my hand stamped but I never tried leaving so I don't know if you're not allowed to leave or what.
