Halloween in Grand Rapids

Does anyone know of any raves on or around Halloween in Grand Rapids? My fiancee has never been to one and i would love to take her to her first this coming holiday. Doesn't necessarily have to be in Grand Rapids, but close enough for her to get to work the next morning.

Nearest ones I know of are all in Chicago. I opted to do a fri 13th one rather than halloween, so my small one has already come and gone.

DJ Icey's going to be spinning at the orbit room on november 4th.. I've asked and they will be allowing glowsticks there that night (and from what I understand, selling as well) so you might want to look into that.

Thanks Chandni! Are you doin a show tomorrow at ULX or was that an old post? I know about the orbit room, haven't been there in ages it seems like so maybe we'll check it out, haven't seen DJ Icey before, is he any good?

I haven't even looked into his style, but I notised one of his openers (DJ Kares) does funky house/breakbeats combination which sounds kinda fun. It's probably gonna be a bit too light/bouncy for me, but I figure on checking it out anyways. I like my breakbeats to be a bit darker, but hey if DJ Kares throws in some Basement Jaxx, I'll be happy. Basement Jaxx.

Hey, thanks for the input! I youtubed 'im. It shall prove to be a good night so long as he breaks dem beats like dey wanna be broke. I'm a fan of the dark as well.
