I went to bar tending school and they stressed the laws, the pressure on the bar tender alone is incredible. Not only would the venue at name get in trouble but the bar tender and or waiting staff could also bite the bullet for serving to minors. Its alot more trouble to have 10 bucks worth of kids come threw your place and cost you thousands in fines than have an all 18+ 21+ crowd which will make you the same amount if not more profits for the night.

But anyway im from the west side of Detroit and my days at city club grow long, i was wondering if there where any more raves in the D, i know there is always something going on if you know the right person but i thought id try the online community for a larger pool of people.

haha "older kids". 16 year olds are one of the most irrational groups of people on earth. Theres a good reason for 18+ and 21+ events

Geez, after reading around on the net and detroitluv forums i can see what happened to the rave scene kinda. It seems all the old ravers wanna take it to the grave, doesn't seem like anything is being passes around to the newer gen people wanting the same experience. I don't know if its because the older gen of ravers are bitter or if the scene really is dieing. With events like DEMF i don't understand how it could be. Ive lived in Detroit all my life and i know for a fact nothing stops someone from throwing a party. The very people complaining, the older generation are not helping but really there is no exuse.

are you having anything in July? around the 8-22 anytime around those? I would like to go to a warehouse rave. We don't have warehouse raves anymore only venue.
