First and foremost if you havent been to Detroit in awhile.... now is the time to come. Since the decline in the scene from 2000 till now, finally things are starting to pick back up. We are running untill the sun comes up!!! And we said screw it.... and booked the one of the US's hottest techno djs Mr. TIM XAVIER HIMSELF!!!

FEAT....

T I M X A V I E R
773tekno, LTD 400, Blueline, Contaminated, PV Rec, Brooklyn, New York, TECHNO

Tim Xavier made himself a household name for techno fans in the late 90s with his innovative releases on Blueline, and since he has continued to push the envelope with new sounds and ideas. His techno releases have been consistent and solid, having signed work to major labels such as Default, Advanced and PV. He has been featured on CD compilations by well known techno artists such as Chris Liebing and Christian Wunsch. Most recently, he has expanded his talents and broadened his production spectrum into the minimal genre, starting two new labels in 2005: limited400 and Klickhaus. Limited400 is his solo label featuring his own work, and the releases have been featured on mix compilations by Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Bug. His new project, Klickhaus, will feature his own production as well as other artists. Tim has also collaborated with Tony Rohr as the Afternoon Coffee Boys, their debute release on Clink selling out in days and continuously demanding repress. Upcoming releases from them include a full EP on Cocoon due out in February.

As if Tim isn’t busy enough, he is also the owner and chief mastering engineer at Manmade Mastering in Brooklyn, NY, where he cuts dubplates and masters. His precise ear, attention to detail and demand for perfection have created a devoted following with his clients. Somehow between producing, running his labels and cutting records, he still finds time play international gigs, sharing his sought-after sound with fans and dancefloors alike.

K E R O -L I V E PA [
Downwards / Bpitch /Low Res / DetUnd / Ghostly / Sender , Windsor / GERMANY IDM

With over 13 releases on some of electronic musicıs most celebrated and innovative labels such as Bpitch, Downwards with Regis, Ghostly International and Shitkatapult as well as his own critically acclaimed Detroit Underground Records, Kero (nee Sohail Azad) has established a reputation for his unrepentantly brash, yet cultivated compositions and unforgettable live performances, most recently, alongside notables such as Speedy J, Ken Ishii and Funkstorung. Furthermore, he has established himself as a leader within the growing pack of electronic music producers successfully infiltrating contemporary art circles world wide.

His innovative approach to music, graphic design and video production feeds on the detritus of popular electronic culture, creating a montage of fleeting musical and visual experiences that are paradoxically critical and enamored with contemporary culture.

Drawing on his experiences as a dual citizen of both Canada and the United States, Kero conducts visual and aural investigations that are concerned with ideas of the diametric and intermediary. Subsequently, the ephemeral nature of electronic culture, the ³rave² experience and aesthetics offers a microcosm to explore similar elements in popular culture. The result is music that blurs genres from hip-hop to the most rarified of techno experiments, video art which stirs faint recollections of print and televised media, and a design language that has ingrained itself upon the most celebrated electro-cultural market in the world.

P U N I S H E R
Uppercut / Seismic Records, Detroit / Chicago TECHNO

Known in circles of Detroit and around the globe for her ambition and skills on the tables, Michelle Herrmann a.k.a. Punisher has set a precedence in a city known for it's fickle taste. Her birth into the techno realm began in Detroit in 1993 at the age of 15.

DJ’ing wasn’t enough. 1996 she put out her first two releases on Detroit label Matrix records and then in 1998 , she started her own label , Seismic Records with a friend and fellow producer Mike Brickner a.k.a. Cozmic Spore. Using the label as a tool push their own concepts of sound and motion they have in turn worked with and gained the respect of many world renowned DJs and producers. With releases from the Advent and Bryan Zentz and liscensing from Dave Clarke and Billy Nasty .. to name a few, Seismic has developed into a strong force in underground techno.

A N N I X
Detroit Techno Militia, Detroit Techno / Hard Techno

After becoming disenchanted with the complacency of the punk scene in the mid 90's Annix turned to hip hop and techno to vent his own expression of social discontentment, His style is an amalgamation of acid coupled with tribal mayhem and punishing kick drums. His inspiration is drawn from abroad including the sounds of Crass records all the way to the ethics of the Underground Resistance. The message is loud and clear, "This is techno: hard, unrelenting, soulful ...the soundtrack to the new urban sprawl." Watch for his own imprint Cabalistic landing in Detroit soon.

Fuck with the programme.
