Reaction to Crystal Method on Dec. 11

Just wondering what everyone thought of crystal method if you went!! I thought i was more of a club scene then a rave scene personally. It was like half ravers and half club people. Me and my buddy started stringing early on and they almost kicked us out it was lame. All in all I met some great people and have a fantastic time!

Hey man I just got your message today. I kept getting a database error when I tried going on rl last night. Crystal Method was sick that place was fucking packed. That sucks they tried to kick you out I guess they might not be use to electronica. They could've done something about the lighting. Thank God for those two hippy kids walking asking everyone if they wanted molly n no fucking busted them lol Vexxed II tomorrow night!!!!

THe Crystal Method was really dope when i saw them a couple weeks ago. It was also more of a club scene. There were alot more guys there than ladies which kind of sucked. At raves i usually don't care about the guy to girl ratio but since most people were a bit more dressed up it was a bit of a let down. I like the sound system at that place and it was pretty good energy, I still would've liked to seen them at a massive or something. I had inova microlights and didn't get hasseled at all. I noticed everyone who was rolling was hovering towards the ends of the dancefloor, either in the very front or very back speakers. It was a good time all in all though.

I've always been torn between The Chemical Brothers and Crystal Method for Big Beat and after seeing them both live I have to say Chemical Brothers > Crystal Method.

Not surprising. Sugar is not a 'rave' venue, really, they do host electronic music events, but cater more towards the older club crowd. As far as getting almost kicked out, most clubs don't like people doing glowsticks on strings because it takes up a lot of room and people get hit with the glowsticks. My best advice is to just bring the glowsticks to clubs and save the strings for raves or the more laid back clubs...
