But we have a long way to go before this music is dead and buried, mummified as a museum culture like rock 'n' roll. The Rave Hall of Fame is a couple decades off. Ten years later, this culture- call it rave, or techno, or electronic dance music- still feels incredibly vital. It's only just hitting its prime, and internal revolutions and reconfigurations along the lines of punk surely lie ahead. If ths precise moment feels like a pause for breath, its only because there's so much yet to come!

i posted this because every time i get on these boards i read about people begging to find parties, people saying they are scared because they think that they came into this scene too late, or came back and think that it is now gone and dead. I see this shit on lots of the area boards not just Ohio's. Our scene is growing, and will continue to grow....only wit all of your help and support. You wanna have parties to come to, then attend and support the ones that we have, it only causes the promotors to throw more bigger and better parties. You intertested in DJing then practice and spin for us. You wanna start your own small scene and throw local parties then get together and do so.....thats what makes makes this scene so amazing it is communal, not one persons but everyones. PLUR to all....and i'll see you on the dance floor!
