Elitists

It seems like the Ohio scene has changed so much anymore. I am not bitching really, just pointing out how things have grown into some elitists group. I know it is supposed to be about the music, but I think being around new people makes it that much more fun. It's just so hard to meet ravers who are my age, but not already sucked into being jaded. What are all the introverts supposed to do! I'm sure there is no answer, I just wanted to know if anyone else feels this way?

Well sorry I'm a retired oldschool jaded raver. Maybe it's just because I'm older now and have a kid and more responsibilities. Don't get me wrong though I still love the music. The scene has changed over the years and so have I. That's why I'm retired.

Well, I have just sorta been sucked into "the scene" So, i'm new. We have to keep on getting parties together.... I hear people telling me the Dayton scene is dead, i'm like, well, of course it's dead, you guys are just letting it fall apart. I'm still very young mind you(eighteen). But, I think someone, somewhere around Dayton just needs to throw a random big ass rave. Then I bet the ravers will start crawling outta the woodwork, lol.

I have a kid too, and I know how hard it is. It's one thing to hire a babysitter while you go out for a few hours, but it is another thing when you want to be gone all night. I think the hard thing for me is going to them and not really having anyone to hang out with. It just seems like everyone already has their clicks. I know that there are always house parties in Dayton, but most of the raves lately have been in C-Bus. So, basically all we can do is wait.

It's in Dayton somewhere. I live in Cincy, so I am not sure just yet. But if you want to go just PM me. I can try to get the address. I know there are about 8 house parties in Dayton though, so I'm not sure which one is going to be more worth it. Where are you from?
