I was just wondering if anyone on here knows why "gsp" and "dusktilldawn" has such massive events in other states but they are supposed to be a C-BUS crew.I went to their website and there are parties in chicago and New York.Huge ones with 100,000 dollar line ups.It just seems kinda weird how these "columbus crews" are doing such large productions in other states. It really sucks when big budget promoters come into cities like columbus and throw their events. They burn that city, then they move onto another.Columbus used to be such a wonderful underground spot.Good relationships with the city and the surrounding communities. The promoters had a deep since of love and respect for the events they did.and I dont ever remember a party getting busted till now.Maybe its just times have changed but there used to be so much more then this.Maybe I am way off base.If someone might know any answers to these questions please comment.

To try and answer your questions. GSP is know to throw parties from Chicago to C-bus, to NYC, but most of GSPs parties have been thrown in the state of Ohio. What you need to take into account with the events that take place out of Ohio is the other promotion crews listed on the flyers, that can contribute to larger or more expensive line-ups that you seem to talking about. Its not just GSP and Dusk Till Dawn throwing those events, other crews in those cities help, and then bigger line-ups are created. Unfortunetly there aren't many other, if any other crews in Ohio as large as GSP to colaberate with to create events with line-ups the size of say....I Have a Dream in NYC this past weekend. Its seems like many didnt know much about GSP until AfterLife, but this promotion crew has been helping the Midwest scene regrow for a number of years and is not just using the columbus area and then moving on to other scenes after one party got busted(Afterlife). They have throw many large events in ohio( Tecknopletic Realmz, !, Blitzen, Duecues Wild, Cupids Masserce, and more) and plan on continuing to throw event in the Ohio area...but also in other parts of the country. They are working very hard to provide a great event to make up for the shutdown of Afterlife, which was not their fault. If you want massives in Ohio then support GSP because they are they are the promotion crew working the hardest, with prolly the most experiece to give that to Ohio. I personally know, have worked wit, and continue to work wit people from GSP and they are great guys, they care about the scene, the music, the fans, and if i had to rep any promotion crew in America beside my own( Ravaholics) it would be them. I hope some of this answered your questions or concerns

I appreciate your comment, its better to ask questions then to just take what is giving to you.Any idea when the make up party for afterlife will be(this year, next year).I just thought it might be hard for other promotional companies to find a venue in central ohio when their company is in litigation with the city of columbus for such an event.

greetings
figured id answer a few of your questions homie first and foremost. we actually started G.S.P. in NYC, therefore i wouldnt label us a "columbus" promotion crew, neither my partner matt or i even live in columbus. in fact, i wouldnt call us "any city" promotion crew... our name speaks for itself, we are the Global sound Philosophy. we do not want our events & our concepts to be limited to one scene, eventually, over time, we will reach more and more scenes & we are always eager to work & do events in new areas so that we can spread our ideas & we can learn new things & spread our philosophys. Ohio & the midwest as a whole has been very good to us. unfortunatly we had to be shutdown on the 22nd of october, but we are working our way through that in the courts still. after the police illegally shut us down, its been very hard to find new venues in ohio. matt & i both work, and we both are in school, we are putting every spare second we have into finding a new venue for the next big event in ohio, i can assure you things are looking up, and you should keep your eyes open for something in the near future we work very very hard on the events that we bring you, and you should only expect the best if our name is on the flyer. we are in no way, shape or form "big budget" promoters, we are simply hired Event coordinators. we have recently re-designed our entertainment website which i think all of you should check out: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and we have New interviews being posted bi-weekly on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] (The newest: Paladin 5.1, Annalyze & more!) but anyways... i cant say enough for the support we have recieved and i can tell you that if the support keeps up for us & what we are trying to do, then our events will only get BIGGER & BETTER. if you have any questions or would like to just talk feel free to personally hit me up via AIM or EMAIL: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] GSPEACE |

Thanks for the facts. There are other promoters out there also working on bringing ohio back on the underground map.
