I was just reading your emotional statement on how ravers are these days. I hear you out on what you said and it got to me. I did the same thing you did at AFterlife. Walked around by myself. I wasn't really approached by too much of anybody. It was always me that went up to everyone else. It's awkward and much harder going up to people alone. its alot easier for a group of kids to come up to someone. but i don't think too many people cared. For example when I went up to kids I wasn't sure if they wanted anyone else to talk to, thought of me as a pest, or if they gave a shit to talk to anyone else other than the people they were already talking to so I was always unsure and not at the top of my game. But if a group of kids came up to me I"d be damn sure that they wanted me to hang out! No what I'm sayin? maybe.. But at these past raves like tonka people were so much friendlier. I just think there were too many damn people at AFterlife and thats probably the reason why it got shut down too. At tonka when there wasnt as many people. I got along with them alot more, talked to alot more people and actually did have more fun. I think parties cant only be too small but also too big. It just seemed like whenever I went up too people they were more interrested in what was going on around them instead of what was going on in front of them which was me. I go to raves to meet people. I can listen to techno music anytime I want. I think the size of the rave fucked it all up. People were more interrested in the rave then they were interrested in the people who attended the rave.

Maybe so. Yeah I used to be one of those people who would talk to whomever, and they would talk to me back. I would try to make those people who weren't smiling SMILE. Ya know. Well I know that all things change with time. Hopefully the next party I attend will be different. I.E. people talking to me. Thanks to the kid who did talk to me at Afterlife.

yeah tonka 4 in cleveland, where the fire alarm went off, i cant remember to much of that rave, i couldnt even remember hardly anything from it the day after, i was pretty fucked up, all i know is i had fun
