Springfield Scene, Share your ideas!

I've been here for a while.. and I know we do get the occasional event.. but they are so few and far in between. I produce and am working on DJing.. but mainly I just love to rave. So, anyone know of anything going on in the area?

Most of the stuff seems to be closer to KC or St. Louis, but we've got plenty of ravers here as well, so we should get things going!

Main issue I have is a good venue to throw them. I've got lighting, and I can arrange sound.. but having a place always seems to be the problem.

Anyone know of or have a good place?

Yeah, I've always wanted to put something together around this area too. I couldn't produce my way out of a cardboard box, but I think I'm somewhat-OK at DJing. I've got a small pile of money invested in a sound system, but no lights... and no venue.

Aside from the Liquid Buzz events in KC, I haven't been to anything big since Terminal Groove 2. I don't know if the scene is just dead, or if I'm a moron and don't know where to look.

Yeah.. I know what you mean. Last big event for me was Nocturnal Elements.. but before that.. I hadn't gone to anything since spring.

I've got a decent amount of lighting.. some sound-active.. if anyone has a decent-sized barn (preferably heated), or house in the middle of nowhere.. we could easily get something going here.

Whilst there aren't a whole lot of things going on in the area... there's definitely plenty of potential to start up something. Main roadblock at the moment is a good venue.
