aside from the "fruity homo" thing, I can pretty much relate with X-Raver, I can even hear some of what hez saying about the "fruity homo" thing too, like thoze Gay guyz that purposely talk Fem to an annoying degree. Therez a ton of NRG that 1500 people make that just izn't there when therez like 30 people @ a show, not saying that people aren't having fun, but therez no electricity overflowing. & with 1500 people U can kind of hide away & dance without the entire room stareing @ U. When I go to shows I want to hear some sick shit on some booming systems, U know stuff that I couldn't do on my own. I mean lets get real here, I can party any day/nite with muzik, its not a big deal. But when I go to a venue & pay $ to get in to see an event it should b more than just a party.
I also think that therez too many promoters throwing too many events nowadayz, which killz everything. bcuz its too spread out & clicky, where az back in like 97 - 98 I saw thingz to b more concentrated, like a big show once a week, & like a Babylon 1 month, & then a Circusland next month.

First of all you do care about this thread I started because it is 100 + posts long. And it will grow longer because many people agree and know what I mean. All the other posts are little boys and girls who heard stories from their older brothers or sisters like myself. So keep posting it is good to see when someone knows what I mean. It is good to hear what all the newbies think as well.

yah, tha cops definately fucked with shit big time. I remember going to The Asylum a little b4 it got shut down, & tha cops there were unreal. Right as soon az I walked in tha door I had a personal police escort following me around everywhere I went, the whole nite, tha same guy. I'd go upstairs, he'd come upstairs, I'd go to tha bathroom, & he'd b standing outside tha door. U wanna talk about harrasment, there U go. Whenever a good group of people were dancing a gang of cops would come over & start stareing @ them. = rediculous

I think all the newbies need a history lesson...alot of em are just to ignorant when it comes to knowing about there roots....everybody hip hop head in NYC recognized and respects their roots.....but sadly i cant say the same about ravers....for instance...does anyone know who larry levan is?
