x-raver, i've been going out every fuckin week since 96. Since NATO and UNITY in Vynil. Do you know why the scene died? Because of us mate. 95% of us were there for drugs, for fcukin grls, for showing up for tons of other reason but not for the MUSIC. Kids who know what's up I still see them around at nice party's that for example Dave Sumner (Function) does. Lets take last year >>> we had Joey Beltram & The Advent, DJ Hell at Spirit, Regis and James Ruskin at Limelight (watever it's called now). There was also few partys in bklyn. Anyway i know youre a big shot and yes it was so much better back then and yes you can't change the world and situation, so fcukin change yourself and get to know the music instead of spending your time on those little fucks. Scene in NYC is none existant and everyone knows it. Scott is the only one who has a store open it tells a lot about the scene. He got into huge financial problems (kids Od'ing and yes dying) and thats why there is no more raves. You have two choices basically bitch how great it was or get to know the music and go out 5-6 times a year + we got WMC or for fuck sake you can always go to europe. I just got back from belgium they had I love techno with 40,000 kids.

I actually met alot of old school kids last year. Life is good mate. You just gotta stay positive and make the best of it.

As far as clothing, this new generation don't know any better. What they see is what they wear. In reality there is so many cool clothing stores like never fcuking b4. Supreme, Union, Nom De Guerre, Atrium has nice gear, 5th floor Barneys, Number (N)ine, Bape, Reckon, A.P.C. As far as style goes 2006 NYC kills 96NYC. None of us was born a perfect fuckin raver. You watch and learn. Remember your first party? Were you really confident in your clothes? Fuck no, it took you quite a while to find you're style. We all went trough this. It's just this kids don't know any better. That's why they look like fcukin clowns wearing those UFO's from 99 and FOX cycle's jersey's. Can you fcukin be any creative? Techno is about smth you never heard or seen b4 it's about having YOUR style. It hurts me too to see what the scene has become but there is not much u can do really.

P.S.

When I went to parties in the city there would be a few freaks and we would all stare at him or her. Now if you don;t dress like a homo you are the weird o. So for all you new scholl ravers who think you know what parties are trust me you have NO CLUE. I look at these venues and they are usually little junk places. Wheres the Roseland, where is the Octagon, Where is the Quary in the Bronx, The Metroplis Lyndan Place Queens? There is nothing anymore. All little cheap clubs. When is there going to be some good party in Manhattan. I think it is over and when we stopped going the whole freaking scene shut down. WHAT DID YOU PEOPLE DO TO RAVES!!!!!!!!
lol fucking faggot, mabey its wack in NY but come down here and check out the raves in LA, u should come down sometime seriously check them out, then when u do, ill fuck ur ass up after i see u , and break ur legs and make sure u can never dance/rave again. okay thank you. have a great day. good bye!

WOW someone who actually knows something outpost. I agree somewhat with you. I don;t think it was us. I think everything went broke money wise. If someone had $$ a party could be thrown basicly anywhere. Now its not worth the risk with all these crazy laws. But for me its worth the risk so someone should invest in a real party. Yes Europe is a real party place. I went to parties in Amsterdam and Belgium(place called the Wall with pillars and shit). Great beats all night long. Huge venues. I am waiting to see what Whistle looks like this year. Its probley no good but I wont be negative yet. Thats all good post

X-raver, I mean just make the best out of it. The first rule of business is to make sure you're investments are safe. There is no point to make a big party now. Those kids are not ready for smth that big. Remember how it was back then weekly venues in tri-state area and once a month or so a big party. So for now it's not smth that should occupy your mind. NYC needs a strong weekly party like we had in Vynil(Unity) or Save the Robots(Killer)

LA, you're in wrong forum
