These lineups are good? Your fucking striaght up dumb. There shit there is like one chesses dick headliner and once and a while you get a good ONE. The venues are ok yeah for an afterparty. 500 people is a fucking rave, yeah that was also an after party. You know nothing clealy if you think 500 is a good number. Thats like a small ass room. I agree with the guy above you definatly had your cookies taken away. BTS never fucked with anyone who stayed away. You think I got drugs off them or did my shit right next to them. Nope I had no problem with them being there. Actually I kinda wish they were still there to scare you fag asses out. Most of them were actuallly pretty nice "oh I got x, k, dust, acid, heroin want any?" "no" ok ok man take it easy. That was it. Years and years at NYC party with groups of people and we never had a problem. You dumb pussys who get involved deserve to get robbed. Go walk your dumbass through Brownsville at 2 am and you also deserve to be robbed. Somethings you just know what not to do and if your to dumb sucks for you.

Thats the point that you keep missing. I am not arguing that the numbers are near what they used to be at the peak of the scene. But they are what they are at the beginning of the scene. We are rebuilding. Odi still rocks the DNB room you had put it in the past tense. Reid same thing but on a much larger scale than back when she ran with SOE. You also said BTS was there doing their thing. That was lackeys and wannabees. BTS was originally like the police of the dance running security and shit. All that thug life bull shit came after kids started to claim the crew that werent really down. And now that some of the leaders from back in the day are out of jail after a number of years of INCARCERATION(where most of them ended up if not dead. I guess they were doing some really good things for the scene).
COmplain all you want but the fact will remain that you lot have no clue as per what is going on, nor are you wanted. All it is, is a bunch of negativity that gets none of us anywhere. Oh and calling Feelgood/Jinx a cheese headliner is lame. These guys help to create the scene up and down this coast. The scene that you lot have shit on and disrespected to the point that we are where we are today. Dips all night. That shit wasnt the beginning of the end or anything. YOu are so old skool or claim to be but have no clue as per what rave was not what it had become. Thugs/violence are not cool and as much as you want to believe that I got my cookies taken you are sorely mistaken. I was boys with a bunch of the supposed BTS crew and never ever had problems. So before you go talking shit you should get to know the actual history as opposed to your percieved history which is completely inaccurate. All of the same djs still come and play, yeah the crowd is smaller, obviously younger, and the clubs/venues are much different but hey your boys smoking the dust starting the fights, robbing kids, and the others oding did not do too much to make the venues want to continue to work with us. Oh and before you go shitting on noobs, understand that you werent the original ravers. There was a whole generation before you and another generation after. |

Im not sure if you were talking to me or not, but i will agree and understand what you are saying, I was definatly not at the begining of the scene when it started.. I just hate that kids these days for some reason have to act differently.. I just dont like ny kids that think they know what went on while during that time .. they were like 7 years of age haha... I would love for it to come around again and be actually "fun" yeh BTS was in full swing back then, some parties they helped with kids that would start shit but sometimes from what i heard.. they just caused problems ... but yeh, I just think i miss how the scene was thats all.. and also i dont want to blame the promoters or any people thatused to setup parties... not everyone got that type of money.. and even if people did.. Its hard to just dump loot into a nice venue to throw a parties and pray for it to be a success ... its about organization.. thats what helped the raves... if you didnt organize... then u see cops ... tyhats not what we want

Let's be realistic here: Nobody cares if a bunch of little teenagers want to jump around to electronic music. As soon as one or two capitalists came in and decided to start making money off of the ravers, pandering to their weakness for E, is when the rave scene went south.
Drug business destroyed the NYC scene, and it's slowly destroying the Philly scene. Don't be a part of the problem. Pack/take your drugs before heading inside. Don't exchange gifts/trades out in the open. And DO NOT buy/take ANYTHING at a club or rave from people you don't know. |

I think that a lack of interest in club drugs has had a negative effect on raves. PS way more drugs at Philly parties than NY IMO. But you cant smell e pills like you can smell dust.
