X you talk out of your ass more than our dear president. I am not a promoter, unless you count handing out flyers for friends events. You tell me to travel and I have, both further than you and more recently than you so dont tell me what I do and dont know. I was at many of the same parties as yourself. You talk mad shit.
Roseland costs 25000 just to rent for a night and that is before production and talent. You do not have the slightest idea what it costs in this day and age to throw a party of the magnitude you are talking about. Amazura wont hold the events anymore, Rose Castle same story. As is the story with the Asbury convention center. So before you go talking shit take the time to do a little research. Oh and call me a promoter while having full knowledge of the fact that I only help friends and do not throw events.

Try Studio B. 2000+ person venue in greenpoint bk. 2 minutes by car from the Williamsburg bridge. SOme of the biggest EDM shows over the last year or two have been held here. Dope sound. And the kid throwing the show has been throwing shows since well since before you started going out.
Oh and did you see the party coming up at Exit with Aaron liberator, Stimulant DJs, lenny dee, Brisk and a bunch more. Gonna shit on that also. Its so sad that you go to a party based on where it is rather than the music you are going to hear. Studio b is a dope venue that I am guessing you havent been to. Check out and get back to me.

yo im with x-raver i feel you. i found this post trying to find a old flyer for a monkey party. damn kid, roseland parties parties that were really knockin' havin like nice and smooth tear it down slick rick show up real heads the boo parties sasha and digweed at twilo hustlin at the SF dips all nite long of that real water afterhours at speed HAHAH BTS doin what they do guliani's punk ass shuttin down parties that was right when things were going downhill in the scene. philly held it down too back then though. octagon was the last place i went to a party like 5 years ago maybe 6 on thanksgiving eve. parties are garbage now not the same at all. i went to a "rave" a couple years ago and just walked right out. shit was a joke these cats make candy ravers look hard. Hey raver x, I been partyin since 95 too...and I think if anything the scene has gotten better!! First off raves arent about seeing how effed up you can get, its not about the drugs bro! Secondly I think the way people dress at parties is awesome!!! Personally I think you need to swallow your pride and ego...oh and stoop whining like a little jaded raver pansie. Dude things change, so if you dont like the scene and where it has gone then make a change and just dont go to parties! To all the other kandi kids, or as raver x calls us kandi homo's, I'm sorry if I'm not being very plurry. I just think that the statements this douche has made are absolutely retarded!! Parties arent just about drugs!!

If you think the venues are good then you have not been going out since 95 you are full of it. Yeah man the Hook kills the Roseland. Give me a break if you think that you need to stop the drugs. The music is not even close. There is like 1-2 good djs when it used to be so many you used to have to switch rooms becuase there were 2 many good djs. NY and Cali parties were side by side bumpin and very popular .. now, NY hasnt had much of a known scene , but from what i heard cali's parties are still pretty strong. and yes, DJ's that have been producing classics have left the NY scene and pretty much the scene all togehter... YES, there are good tunes coming out now and then, but not a song that people talk about for years and years... if u find a song that came out in 07 and you still talk about it in 2011, please... let me know lol... but yes, if you think the scene is better now? then you obviously havent been to parties back then ... maybe i can let it slide because I know the happy hardcore scene wasnt that bangin back then but all the classics were around in 95 so im not sure what ur trying to say about better now then then ... I wasnt too much into that form of techno, but i know there were good music comming from that way... big please .. dont OD on PLUR this & PLUR that... ok we alllll know we all have unity and respect and blah blah... haha.. im trying to be neutral with all you guys.. but I just voice opinion on how well done up the scene was before it went main stream and people leeched the scene fromt he real crews and made it look stupid... you all should be aware of that...

Most of us do but some are in denial or simply lie. I just hope that promoters wil realize that too and make it work again. There are still people here it NYC we just need a reason to go out to a party.

stay the fuck home. If you cant come out and support smaller events how the fuck do you expect the scene to grow. It didnt happen first time around over night. And to whoever is going on about how great bts was robbing people, selling fake drugs, throwing fake parties, check yourself you havent a clue as per what a rave is. This same person talking about Odi and Reid you obviously dont know either of these people. Both still play NY very often. Granted Reid is out in Cali and touring the world these days but is here every few months. Not forgetting her people or her roots.

over 500 kids for a party where the only headliners were Feelgood and Jason Jinx(still producing house music in NY, guess they have all moved on). You people on X's side dont seem to get that no one is saying that parties are as good or are as packed but they still happen at decent venues, with good lineups. YOu lot seem to think that money grows on trees and crews who have the same people throwing parties from before you were in the scene dont have a clue. ITs money and times. They have changed dj's charge more and venues are more difficult to get. If you dont do shit on your own to support or help to create change you are just a washed up never was that is not even a bleep on the rave map. Stop bitching and man up.
