I was just kidding. People should rave to have fun, that is why I always did it, and the cool heads you met along the way were an added bonus. I know why I wasn't friends with X Raver.

People who turn their past experiences into a pissing contest shouldn't be allowed to rave because they are the ones who will eventually destroy the scene.

This member is the original thread starter. Default the scene is destroyed

The scene is destroyed and has been for a little while now. It has nothnig to do with the old school people thinking all new parties are lame. It is the fact that nobody throws parties in any worth while place. And the new people can't understand and keep arguing with me. Yes if all you know is the Hook then you cannot know what parties at places like the Rose castle or the Metrapois (in queen with palm tress outside in the summer) you do not know. Get one of you noobers to throw a few parties in these places for only a shot time like 6 months of real parties. Then goto the Hook and tell me that parties are not wack now. Thats all i am saying. Give me some real venues again and talk to me later. You have to correct me by throwing a real party in NYC.

When I went to parties in the city there would be a few freaks and we would all stare at him or her. Now if you don;t dress like a homo you are the weird o. So for all you new scholl ravers who think you know what parties are trust me you have NO CLUE. I look at these venues and they are usually little junk places. Wheres the Roseland, where is the Octagon, Where is the Quary in the Bronx, The Metroplis Lyndan Place Queens? There is nothing anymore. All little cheap clubs. When is there going to be some good party in Manhattan. I think it is over and when we stopped going the whole freaking scene shut down. WHAT DID YOU PEOPLE DO TO RAVES!!!!!!!!

What the fuck!? LMAO.

You say that over 10 years is not the long. Parties did not blow up in NYC until right around 95. I said "Around 95". I dont mean your gay outlaws I went to those as well. But that is a small elite group of heads. I mean BIG parties which most people can;t understand like the last 2 posts. So again 2 noobs talking shit because they went to some gay storm raves. I did too but that is not my complaint or ever was. I am only talking about big blow outs. So learn to read and then you could understand.

I still don't get what you're doing here.

You don't seem to get it; we like raves as they are. We are the ravers of today. We don't care that some jaded NYC punk aint happy with the scene as we live and thrive on it. We don't identify with that. Ravelinks is not about bitchin' down raves and ravers, it's about hooking up contacts and bringing together the 21st Century P.L.U.R. to celebrate this great thing we've found. You are not going to get anything out of ravelinks as long as you keep trying to go back to ten years ago with other jadeds. That's not what we're all about, yeah.

I've said in my other posts, and i'll say again; if you want to fix the scene, get out there and DO something about it with other likeminded people. We [vast majority] are not those people. There are plenty of other message boards which will agree with you about the old ways, but mostly as the new generation of ravers today; we're not interested.

Peace.

i did read yo bullshit posts. i did understand them. ive been hittin parties regularly for 8 years so i kinda know where yo comin from. and honestly, yes i do consider myself a noob still. because ive partied everywhere so its like im startin over everywhere i go. the scene is different where you go. its changes with time. but it hasnt changed as bad as you say. if it has drastically changed out there like you say, its most likely because promoters gave up on tryin to fight with rules and regulations on how to throw a party. it isnt the party goers fault if the scene has changed. its promoters and venues. people still love the music and and the scene as much as ever. if not more. and if yo bitchin cause the drugs changed, then you need to check yoself into rehab because the drugs are the last thing to worry about. the only thing worth bitchin about is the price of water at parties.......
