Summer is about half over and still not one rave. Do any of you wanna bees plan on doing anything before the summer ends or just the fucking Hook until summer is over? You promoters should be shot in the foot for doing such a bad job. You people make any ravers whos not 16 fucking sick

All of the ravers in particular the ones over 23 24 who are still going out and didnt burn themselves out on drugs like yourself. No one said things are perfect but why throw a huge rave and loose thousands of dollars. You still have no clue. Oh and by the way no one really posts on this site. You are a joke and you dont go out and still complain. Nostrum is coming yes all one of him. You were going on about this guy thinking it was two and again you were wrong. So come see me or anyone of us at any party and again we can discuss your issues. But you wont come out because that would involve showing your face. You are a faceless coward of the highest regard. Btw Yalepac_____ in new Richie Hawtin documentary references from the man himself to rave scene are all over. Do you know Richie was banned from coming to states for over 2 years while coming with his brother to NYC rave? His Plastikman logo was a trademark of 95-97 scene (tattoe's, stickers, t-shirts)

None of that changes the fact that he is inaccesible to the NYC rave scene currently. He is a very high paid dj and unless he is playing at a massive in Cali he is not playing a rave in the US.

ok bro chill. yeah i know it difrent then before. and i remember the Shelter back in the day. wooo man that place was packed with good vibes. but umm bro if u wanna blame sumone, blame the government. its really there fault for making it so hard to get a really good party up and running...not the nu skool kids.

I am with you on that to a certain extent. But when the national trends changed and kids are doing more perscription drugs than "club" drugs the rave scene all around the country except Cali pretty much died down. Not all together but not where they were once. It also seems that there is a lot less interest in EDM from the youth than there used to be.

And it can't be too hard to believe that this is the kind of shit that the government wants: US tearing apart OUR community FOR them!! Seriously chill, everyone. We all know that we're not going anywhere. One way or another, the tribal family we're a part of will always exist. I don't blame anyone other than conservative politicians, the government, and greedy promoters for the "lessening" of our scene. You think it's bad where you live, respectively? Try raving in Virginia, of all places.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, if you want it bad enough, you can make it happen.

Oh, and by the way....Nothing in life that's worth ANYTHING is ever easy.....just had to say.

Oh yeah big time. like once a year. once in two years. he resides in Berlin.

Anyway there are lots and lots of problems with Techno/Underground Electronic dance music in NYC.

1. Most (if not all) clubs are closed.

Palladium, Limelight, Tunnel, Twilo, Vinyl are history.

2. Most of the record stores are closed.

Sonic Groove, Temple Records, NJ store is closed, Philly's store is closed. (not sure about BB science)

Sattelite is owned by some israelis now that have no clue.

Back in the day scene was heavily inspired by store owners, kids who shopped and eventually many became promoters.

Without music it's nothing but drugs and socializing. To build scene back we need to have at least one store and at least one strong weekly event like Vynils Unity.

Its the cheap broke ass promoters. Not the goverment if they had the $$ we would be in a real venue. There just fucking cheap.
