Last night at Rebel with Chris Liebing were like 20 kids literaly. I remember same place with Surgeon like 5-6 years ago 2 floors. Place was fucking packed, 800 + people. Scene is beyond dead. From this board did anyone went to see CL??

Yup... So sad. and people aruge with me instead of realizing how shitty things are rave wise in this city. You want to bring raves back throw a huge bash and call it X-ravers. And they will come out. Not at Exit, not at the hook which are basiclly the shitty new spots. Get the Roseland, Get the Octagon, Get the SOund Factory, Rose castle. Most of these places are still there. Instead of throwing 20 gay raves save your fucking money and throw one big one and charge more. Then you can keep doing it. I do not want to bitch. I will say I am wrong as soon as something real happens. Give me a fucking break look at the upcomming events that are in NYC. God help us all.

Sound Factory is now Pacha and its a house/techno club owned by Eric Morillo. Octagon does no longer exists same with Rose Castle. You know whats funny you say you dont want to bitch yet that is all you do. If a smaller party has the djs you wanna see then why does it matter if it is at Roseland or the Hook or wherever. I am beginning to think this was a social scene for you first and a music scene second. As long as the beats are good and I have some friends with me who cares about all the rest. I went to Starscape this weekend. A big fucking bash by anyones standards and quite frankly while the party is ill every year I didnt even see my friends I went there to see. Got to see all the djs though so the time was ill. You dont want to do anything to help fine but bitching and not coming out is pointless. You talk about saving money from a couple of little gay bashes, well if you and your "boys" dont come out that is less money for the next one. Put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.

For the record danny t and richie hawtin are not rave djs in any sense of the word. And spinning at ultra does not make you a rave dj. I agree one big bash would be great, but there is too much drama and not enough money to make it happen.

What did you people drink your brain juice this morning. Your fucking making sense. Maybe some promoter would listen. I am telling you put out a flyer now for a rave at the end of july called X-ravers and people will come. Its in the title, venue, dj's. This kid who says as long as there is good beats and djs is a 15 year old idiot. I can have you over my fucking basement and hear a few good friends of mine spin. Thats not a rave buddy. 40% of the deal is the venue stupid. You can have as many good djs as you want at the hook AND NOBODY BUT YOU WILL GO. You need space to have a rave.

You know this thread gets talked about and made fun of on other boards right? By kids who again were going out before you knew what rave was. i wasn't aware there were "rave djs" at all, and i agree with you 100% Incoherent. Dj's play music at rave's, and Hawtin and Tenaglia can move a crowd better then 95% of the dj's out there. I've seen Richie rock alot of parties, and he never ceases to amaze me. One of my favorite nights ever was at Twilo during his "Decks, effects and a 909" tour, he whipped that place into a frenzy. I also recall seeing WAY too many overhyped headliners and local dj's destroy vibes at raves.(most notable floor fucker award goes to D'Julz)

I just came back from Prague like two weeks ago. 50,000 + people all dressed in white. vibe was just incredible. Why is it sooo dead in NYC? Why? Why didn't you Incoherent didn't come to see CL or RH? RH is easily top 3 DJ's in techno. Easy. I never heard a bad set from Richie and I heard plenty. Besides Dave (Function) no one even tryes to bring quality DJ's. I miss my raves men. I miss my K. I miss my techno all fuckn night long.

I miss it too outline but people dont even think there are problems in the NYC rave scene. This is the first step for people to relize that shit sucks here and know that it once was better than any other place. Now its fucking done and the real people miss it too. Hey, dude goto the Hook there haveign a foam party dance night USA.hahahahah the fucking hook. this is whats up now.. Please I would not go for free.
