i have to agree with Xraver, to some point. I went to the candyball party not to long ago, and none of the kids(litterally i saw someone there that had to be 14) had a clue. I love all types of music but the djs that were there couldnt spin for shit other than the headliner, that no one even paid attention too, until the promoter was throwing shit out. Also what the fuck is up with the dancing bullshit, pushing people and swinging your arms, i mean come on. I dont know how the drugs were, cause i didnt look for them. Overall the party was ok, but extremely unorganized. Other than that party the NYC scene is a shithole mess, djs get booked and they cant beat match. The prices are astronomical, and the people are B&T. England is where it is.

Zane you should go out to jungle parties. The djs for the most part are very skilled. Plus you love hardcore I am assuming and went to a hhc party. Why would you do that to yourself. Shit is garbage

i have love for HHC, just like i have love for deep dark jungle. Its all music and it gives me something different. I love the djs that actually have love for the scene (european djs).

You do know me I am sure. I was there every week for years. My picture was also in those little magizines they used to pass out which I bet are gone becuse the scene is gone. If I decribe myself I probly sound like everyone else. Bald head, short always with a skinny blonde girl Tara her name was.

My advise to you is to start throwing your own parties. Be your own promoter . Get the talent you want and do something about. The scene I used to know is dying over here also. But I have alot of alternatives.

I know exactly how you feel its like half of these kids dont even know who the fuck they are listening too, im telling you the scene is a mess, they get banging headliners once in a while but it just seem like nobody appreciates them and in return the Dj's ends up spinning mad lazy like. It sucks what can i say.....Also the prices are pretty fuckin outragous and on top of that if u end up buying tickets at the door half the time the fuckin promoter decided to jack it up 10-15 dollars, what kind of shit is that?
And as soon as you walk in the room'll either be half empty or itll be a buncha of local kids running around all cliquey like and what not...
